Honestly, this movie deserves a 9.5 rating, not some mediocre 6.8.
I’m not usually one for dramas—I’ve sat through hundreds of them, let's be real—but this one just hits different. It’s unlike anything else I've seen, and if true love actually exists in cinema, it's captured right here, even if the story doesn't wrap up with a neat little romantic bow.
It feels like a total masterpiece being overlooked by IMDb, and honestly, it might just be one of the greatest films ever made.
The final scene alone, combined with that soundtrack, is easily some of the best filmmaking I've ever witnessed.

I ended up getting hooked on Narcos, and I have to admit, it was a total bullseye for me. If you're the type of person who gets really sucked into the gritty details of drug cartels, smuggling operations, and deep-seated corruption, this is it. It's all based on true stories involving Pablo Escobar, the Medellin cartel, and the Cali cartel, while also following the narrative over to Mexico to cover Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo—the notorious Mexican drug lord often referred to by his aliases, el Jefa de Jefes and The Godfather.
Honestly, once you start, you just won't be able to look away. 🙂

I’ll admit, I’ve always had a bit of a bias against George Clooney, but man, this movie really proves why he’s such a powerhouse. It feels like a collaboration between Rodriguez and Tarantino—just another absolute masterpiece of chaos. And honestly, that plot twist? Easily one of the most shocking moments ever put on screen. Then there's that final line, "Let me ask you something... have you ever been in this bar before?" Well, now I know, because I definitely haven't! And the look on Clooney's face afterward... just incredible. It's truly a brilliant film, driven by those signature sharp, snappy dialogues we love from Tarantino and Rodriguez.

It’s easily one of the three Clooney films that I can’t stop thinking about.

It's actually really cool.
