Cocaine Bear (2023) in Movies ·
Nothing revolutionary here, just a decent enough flick. I actually
found myself laughing out loud a few times.
Apparently, some people were dying for unnecessary sexual stunts
and LGBTQ propaganda, so their final rating ended up being this low.
The Little Mermaid (2023) in Movies ·
I’m actually looking forward to seeing Popeye and Badja tear into each other soon.👍
Knock at the Cabin (2023) in Movies ·
Honestly, this was one of the worst movies I’ve sat through in years. It’s completely pointless and exhausting—the whole premise and setting feel totally unnecessary and irrelevant.
The best part of the entire movie was just the trailers and seeing Shyamalan's name.

He can. Hey rustydrifter10, here’s the link to this post 🙂
Just to add, I saw my urologist today and he confirmed it's prostatitis.
Could this be what's driving my enzyme levels up?
velvetmoose9 said:My mistake was 🙈—I forgot to ask why you're seeing an anesthesiologist.

I'm guessing some kind of surgery.

Which one exactly?

Taking Gas-X for bloating?

Fatty liver from being overweight?

A colonoscopy under sedation.
And yeah, Gas-X for the bloating.
It’s not obesity, per se, but my doctor told me I eat too much fast food—and honestly, I have to admit I've been hitting the greasy stuff and sweets pretty hard lately too.
velvetmoose9 said:You need to include GGT too.
I don't see a CBC/Differential here (what about MCV??)

Alcohol?
Had jaundice recently?
Medications?
Other issues (like mono or something similar?)

Eating fast food—in this specific case based on what you've said—doesn't spike AST and ALT levels.

When was your last AST and ALT test, and what were the numbers?

RBC 5.36 4.30-5.70
HGB 160 138-175
HCT 48.2 %
MCV 90.0 86.0-100
MCH 29.9 27.0-31.0
MCHC 332 310-350
RDW 15.5 11.5-15.5
PLT 231 150-400
MPV 6.80 7.40-10.4
PCT 1.57 00.0-1.00
PDW 17.6 00.0-99.9
Iron and protein tests were done shortly before these results; albumin was slightly elevated, but iron was fine.
As far as meds go, I'm not taking anything besides Gas-X tablets, which I've been using for quite a while now.
No drinking. No jaundice, and I have diagnosed Celiac disease.

My last ALT and AST readings were about a year ago, and they were normal.

Actually, two or three years back, I had a similar situation where my GGT spiked over 100. My doctor told me after an ultrasound it was just fatty liver.
And shortly after that, the GGT went back to normal.
Just got my bloodwork back for the anesthesiologist.
Here’s the breakdown:
Na-C 145 136-145
K-C 4.7 3.5-5.1
CaC 2.39 2.10-2.55
Cl-C 108 98-107
GluC 5.3 3.3-6.1
Urea 6.5 2.0-7.8
Krea 101 63-109
AST 100 0-38
ALT 86 0-48
CK 129 0-205
CKMB 15 0-25
LD 195 123-243

I'm pretty concerned about these ALT and AST levels—they're way higher than they should be. To give some context, I was fasting and only drinking liquids two days before this test to prep for a colonoscopy, then I spent the entire day before the labs eating nothing but fast food. Could that junk have caused this spike? Also, just to add, I had an abdominal ultrasound three months ago and my liver looked fine then.
Nicole Newman15 said:In my view, a plus sign means positive regardless of the condition. I just need to figure out if this is H. pylori.

Exactly. That’s what I was assuming. It's Helicobacter pylori.
Just did a quick blood test today for HP and the result came back as +++. Does that mean I'm positive?
Is there actually any difference between blood tests for celiac disease and H. pylori?
I noticed the antibodies involved seem to be the same. I’ve already done the celiac screening and I'm supposed to get tested for H. pylori next, so now I'm just confused.
Thanks for the reply.
I just got my blood work back today and finally have the results.
My CBC, glucose, iron, and total protein levels all look normal. However, my albumin came in at 52.6 (range 35-52) and my albumin/globulin ratio is 2.0 (range 1.1-1.7). I read somewhere that dehydration can cause these numbers to spike, which is worth noting since I’ve barely touched water the last few days—just sticking to tea.
If anyone has any insight on this, I’d appreciate it!
