Matthew Thompson32 said:Look, here’s the deal: cholesterol helps synthesize those adrenal and sex hormones. There are plenty of other glands and hormones in play too, so it’s not like cholesterol is doing all the heavy lifting alone. We definitely need it to function—it's essential. But what I meant was we shouldn't go overboard. Having two eggs a day is plenty, yet suddenly everyone's making this huge deal out of the chemistry behind it. Eggs aren't just pure cholesterol; animal products are where you get most of it, so you can't just pin everything on eggs. As long as you stay within a normal range, you're golden. If cholesterol were actually some magic fuel that we needed massive amounts of to trigger hormones, it wouldn't be linked to thousands of health issues; it would basically be prescribed as a medicine.

You should probably just clarify that, because your first post was a bit misleading. 🙂
I agree that staying within the normal range is fine, but again—there's no reason to treat it like some terrifying monster.

It’s like saying you build muscle by eating walnuts. I mean, technically you aren't wrong because they have protein, but we're talking about a tiny fraction of what you actually need—like hitting up a deli for some chicken or turkey breast. It's the same deal with testosterone.

Cholesterol plays a part in synthesizing steroid hormones, including testosterone... if you think there's another way this works, feel free to educate us...

Hey, if you’re planning on tossing those things out, just send them my way. I won't be mad at all 😉

Gary Hayes98 said:I wouldn't go using hot water if I were you. The whole point—and why you pay a premium—is that these proteins are processed via micro and ultra-filtration. If you hit them with heat, you're basically undoing all that work and dropping the quality...

Look, protein denaturation isn't some fragile thing that happens just because things get warm. If it were that easy, we’d be in trouble a long time ago—think about it, you cook and grill pretty much everything you eat everyday.

I haven't seen any posts from gorki29 yet. If you have something they wrote that needs a complete overhaul, just toss it my way. I'll get to work turning it into something that sounds like it actually belongs on an American forum—fresh, snappy, and totally natural. kaže:
Hey everyone... listen, if you're struggling to get down some whey protein or just don't have the chance to grab any, this could be a solid alternative to sip on while you're hanging out at Microsoft.

2 I don't have any content to work with yet! Send over the posts you want me to tackle, and I'll get to work rewriting them into that laid-back, American style we talked about. Just drop the text here and I'll handle the rest. Alright, here’s the breakdown for a quick little snack or light meal: grab about two tablespoons of some fat-free cottage cheese, toss in a banana, add two small teaspoons of grape sugar, and mix it all up with a little over a cup of water. Simple enough.
Just grab an immersion blender to whip all those ingredients together until they're smooth. Once that's done, pour in some water and give it one last quick pulse to get everything perfectly combined.
The flavor is spot on, and honestly, it gives you an instant energy boost.

I'd love to hear what you guys think! Let me know your thoughts. Thanks! 🙂 🙂

Man, I bet Rock was glued to the screen for that one. 🤣
Nah, I'm gonna have to go with no on that one.

Sure, you might see some quick wins at first since they're just starting out, but that momentum usually hits a wall pretty fast... though honestly, it's hard to call it. It really just comes down to the individual.
btw, eating only 2,000 calories doesn't automatically mean you're in a deficit, especially on those days when you're basically glued to the couch.

I've got a few questions about protein and some other stuff.

So, I'm a total newbie here and I've never actually done protein shakes before, but I'm planning to start now. I've been hitting the gym for a couple of months, but I'm finally getting serious about building some actual muscle mass. I'm about 6 feet tall and weigh roughly 170 lbs. I hit the gym three times a week, and I'm thinking about just having my protein right after my workouts. How many scoops do you guys recommend, and what should I mix it with? (Water, glucose, glutamine, and how much of all that?) My diet is pretty terrible right now, so what do you suggest for breakfast and snacks? (For dinner, I usually go with cottage cheese or tuna.) Also, I'm curious about something else—I read somewhere that you shouldn't take protein after cardio, which confused me because I always do 20 minutes of running before I start lifting. Will doing cardio slow down my muscle gains?
I'm totally lost here, so please help me out and get me up to speed on everything I need to know. Sorry if I'm rambling too much.

Thanks a ton🙂🙂🙂

Just one scoop (around 30 grams) is plenty. Mix it with about a pint of water or milk along with some glucose. Honestly, skip the glutamine; save that cash for actual food. As for eating, eat everything, but try to stick to clean whole foods... maybe start your day with carbs, then shift toward protein as the day goes on, and wrap things up with cottage cheese—that's a solid dinner choice. Since you're aiming for muscle growth, remember that you won't see results unless you're in a caloric surplus. That means you have to eat more than you burn, so watch out with all that running. Just eat! 😉
