Best protein powders for muscle gain? in Hobbies & Leisure ·
Jack Reed52 said:Do whatever you want, man. Personally, I think it's a pretty decent meal replacement. I used to rely on them back when I was stuck at college all day—just grab one during a break and call it a day.

So I wake up this morning and go to try what I whipped up last night... and holy hell, this is easily the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted. I feel like I'm gonna have to toss every single bar into about a cup of milk, blend it, and just "drink" it because there's no way I can eat them like this.🙂

So, I just whipped up some protein bars... 8 scoops of protein, 250g of oats, a bit of instant pudding mix, and half a liter of milk.... how would you guys use these? Like, for breakfast or maybe post-workout?

A "weight gainer" is packed with protein and carbs, while "protein" is just protein, obviously.

So you're saying this actually helps you bulk up because of the carbs... honestly, I don't care. Standing at 6'6" and weighing 215lbs, I'm good where I am. 🙂

Anyone actually using weight gainer? I can snag some at a killer price right now, so I’m wondering—what's the real deal between that and just regular protein powder???
