True,😢 🙄but regardless, you really shouldn't miss this one.🙏
😍
The legendary Chicago punk outfit Peking Duck is reuniting on May 22nd for a show at the Boogaloo movement, marking thirty years since they dropped their cult classic single "to be so beautiful."
I suppose I'm looking forward to it; it might actually turn out to be quite good. Are any of you planning to go?👍
Naturally, Ticketmaster isn't even bothering to reply to emails anymore, despite the fact that they were supposed to announce a new date three weeks ago 😠 and, as far as I can tell, getting a refund still isn't an option.👎
Ronald Wood5 said:The show starts quite early. The opening act is at 8:00 PM, which means The Killers probably won't hit the stage until 9:00 or 9:30.
Hmm, my info says the start time is 9:00 PM, though doors open at 8:00 PM according to the ticket, I suppose. 😉
I guess I might actually make it for the beginning, if I'm lucky.😁
So, I just finished reading some updates online. I think I might actually go ahead and grab my ticket this year; I'd rather avoid that last-minute panic trying to scrape together enough $183 😁
See you there! I suppose I'm looking forward to when they finally start announcing the lineup 😍
Jessica Hall74 said:What is that? I've never heard of it... 🤷
I haven't either.. 😕
btw (last.fm—Little Freak, is that you? 😉)
Jacob Young2 said:Yes, I feel the same way.. 🤣 I pass by the ticket booth every single day.. 🤣
Me too, haha.🙂
Actually, since I was off work today, I finally decided to just go for it and bought one. I have the ticket in my pocket now, so I suppose I'll just be waiting for December 12th.😍😍
slypanther5 said:ticket sales have been surprisingly strong over the first two days... I suspect the concert at Madison Square Garden will be sold out within about two weeks, so if anyone is planning to attend, they might want to hurry up and grab their tickets...
Fair enough. I've been putting off buying my ticket indefinitely, so thanks for the heads-up.🙄
slypanther5 said:all Eventim outlets and those at The Factory
Alright, thanks for the info. 🙂

hehe 😉
Does anyone know where tickets might be available for purchase?
Assuming, of course, they aren't just sold at the box office at The Fillmore. 🤣
YESSSSSSS!
You guys really made my day <3
Red Hot Chili Peppers. I can hardly wait. I truly can't wait.
<33333
Well, I suppose we should celebrate.
It is happening.
Lily Allen was fantastic. I have to agree that the crowd felt a bit stale at times. 🤷It was only once she started playing the hits that people actually started moving. (Kudos to anyone who knew more than three of her songs, I suppose.)
YYY were great—high energy and overall just excellent. 😁
Kraftwerk was interesting. I hadn't listened to them much before, so they actually surprised me; they were phenomenal, even if listening to them for such a long stretch felt a little taxing.
Foo Fighters were incredible—the songs, everything. I assumed they would only play material from the new album, but they included older tracks too, which I really appreciated.
The organization was top-notch. With food vouchers and stalls every ten yards or so, I don't really have any complaints. 🙂
An excellent evening, all around. 🙂
That sounds absolutely fantastic!
But I suppose one needs to actually have the money for it.
Jesse Sanchez60 said:Klaxons at Lollapalooza and apparently yyy at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival...
Oh god, I wish.🙄
But I suppose they'll just shove one more act in there, followed by a predictable list of about 40 legacy rock bands from the seventies, as per usual, I guess. lol.😛
Franz Ferdinand?
Oh, absolutely!
:-)
I’ve always been a fan, though I never actually had the chance to catch them live back when they played Lollapalooza..
Ugh. 😁
