Honestly, they're great for me; no weight gain, no mood swings, zero side effects except for one thing—my boobs went up two cup sizes. 😁

That's a "side effect" I am more than willing to accept and celebrate. 🤣

How long did it take for them to grow that much? 😲 😍
I've been on Yaz for two weeks, and I haven't had any side effects yet, though they have grown just a tiny bit. 😬

Thanks, I guess I'll head to my doctor tomorrow so she can take a look.
It might be a reaction to the penicillin. I’ve been reading on here that a lot of people get allergic reactions—usually hives—a few days after taking antibiotics like Augmentin. Honestly, I'm not sure if it's from the pills or the penicillin itself, since I started both at the exact same time. 🤷
Anyway, I was on that Augmentin for a week, and this reaction flared up right after those seven days were up.

Hey everyone, did anyone else deal with a pill-induced rash? I started taking Yaz about a week ago, and now I’ve noticed these tiny red spots all over my arms and chest. It looks like an allergic reaction, I guess. Does this mean I have to quit them?😢
I'm thinking about putting some hydrocortisone on the area, then heading to the gynecologist on Monday...

Jerry Vaughn8 said:Hey, I found this online and figured it might be useful for some of you:

Medications that can lower the effectiveness of birth control pills
Carbamazepine
Ethosuximide
Metronidazole
Phenobarbital
Phenytoin
Primidone
Rifampin
Tetracycline
Troglitazone

Birth control may decrease the effectiveness of these:
Clofibrate
Lorazepam
Oxazepam
Temazepam
Salicylates

Birth control might boost the effects of these:
Benzodiazepines
Beta blockers
Caffeine
Corticosteroids
Tricyclic antidepressants
Theophylline

I just read that Augmentin is actually Amoxicillin, which isn't even on this list 🤔 Now I'm trying to call my OB-GYN, but of course, she isn't picking up 🙄

How does an antibiotic (in my case, Augmentin) affect how birth control works?
Basically, I’m supposed to start an antibiotic today for an infection. The pharmacist told me I shouldn't really notice any difference and that they don't interfere with each other, but I’m pretty skeptical. I've heard from other sources that it might actually lower the effectiveness of the pill. 🤷
dustybison12 said:Honestly, the weight gain thing sounds way worse to me than getting blood drawn. I'm about 140 lbs and 5'6", and I'm being super careful with my diet right now. I actually dropped a few pounds this week—was at 141, now I'm down to 140—and now I'm low-key stressed that it'll all just come back. I wasn't really obsessed with my weight before, but I'm getting married in a year and I definitely don't want to feel like a balloon. :/

It's actually the exact opposite for me. I could probably use a few extra pounds since I'm sitting at 105 lbs and 5'7". 🙄 I should probably start taking Yaz in a few weeks, so I'll let you know which side effects decide to show up. 😉 I mean, if the check-up goes well, I doubt there will be any massive weight gain; maybe there'll be a difference, but I guess it wouldn't even be noticeable. 🙂
dustybison12 said:Hey, so I’m thinking about finally seeing a gynecologist to talk about birth control and hopefully get a prescription, but does that mean I absolutely have to get blood work done first, or what? 😢 I’m really not a fan of needles or getting my blood drawn. I just want to start taking them so I don't end up with a massive bloated stomach right when my friend's wedding rolls around next year... Plus, I definitely don't want to pack on any extra pounds from them. It seems like half of you guys are posting about gaining weight the second you started your pills anyway...

Yeah, a decent doctor will probably order blood tests—it’s not exactly a nightmare, honestly, it takes maybe a minute 🙂. A friend of mine had a doctor prescribe Diane without any prior testing or blood work, and two weeks later she was dealing with brutal side effects—headaches, wild mood swings, and acne that hasn't cleared up even a year later. She stopped immediately and found a different doctor who actually took the necessary precautions before prescribing anything.
As for the weight gain, I guess it's pretty much down to the individual. You might put on a pound or two, but nothing too crazy should happen, maybe 🤷
Morgan Palmer2 said:Honestly, I’m pretty lost now. I was expecting a totally different lineup. At this point, I don't even know what to hope for anymore. It's probably just going to be a total disaster. 😂😂😂

I'm with you on that. 🤣
I’m actually seriously considering just selling my ticket at this point. 🙂
Seriously guys, stop spamming this. There are plenty of other threads for that. 😵

Here’s the updated list: 🤣

Morgan Palmer2 said:this isn't an official schedule. I’m guessing Arcade Fire will close out the first night, maybe with C. Hill on the second. Looking at how they did it in previous years, I suspect we might only see another four or five international acts left, and probably just on the smaller stages.

I'm holding out hope for at least two more big names. It would make sense to drop them after April 14th—you know, right when ticket prices spike. If I recall correctly, that’s exactly how Chainse handled things last year.🤔.

I guess they’d be a killer combo with Arcade🙏.
amberranger said:I caught them three times in a single week—nearly double digits if you count them all. They were easily the most relaxed during their Guns N' Roses show and played an incredible set; I don't think I've ever seen them go full force on "Nutshell" or "Down in a Hole" at festivals before. Though, I guess the sound was pretty hit-or-miss. The vocal layering was great, and Dave is just a legend. They seemed the most intense back in Prague two days prior, and while they looked like they were just going through the motions at Lollapalooza because of the crowd, they actually had the best sound there.

wow, three times in one week? 😲😍
I suppose I agree, they were excellent last night. The crowd—at least where I was, right up in the front row—was fantastic 👍
The sound could have been better, but compared to some other shows I've been to lately, this was actually pretty great.
Their setlist is solid; I liked that they leaned heavily into the older tracks 👍 and played more songs than they usually bother with at festivals.
And most importantly, they really connected with the audience 😍 I felt like William was just... radiating energy, somehow.
Rebecca Lee said:I mean, you can probably get away with a small camera. Unless you're trying to be a total pro, I guess. If you're worried about security, maybe just shove everything at the bottom of your backpack. They don't usually dig through bags that much, especially if you're a woman. 😍 😂

Yeah, they probably won't let in those DSLR photographers—you know, the ones with the massive lenses that news crews use.
But I suspect smaller cameras shouldn't be an issue, pretty much like any other concert in the States. 🙂

I'm heading downtown to hunt for raincoats, though I haven't the slightest clue where to even start.🙂

Supposedly you can find some at General Motors or BlackRock.🙂
Or maybe check those big-box stores like the Forest Service or whatever.

They say the rain might let up by tonight, fingers crossed, I guess.👍
At least it isn't boiling out.👍
urbannomad30 said:Hopefully the weather holds up for The Flaming Lips on Wednesday.🙂
It could probably rain during Massive Attack; I guess that might actually fit the vibe.😬

Especially if they end up playing Pray for Rain.😍
Rebecca Lee said:but you can always grab some cheap ponchos at $1.75

Oh, I didn't realize that. Great, thanks 🙂

Jessica Johnson85 said:Verizon was handing them out. T-Mobile seems pretty stingy to me. 🤷

🤣 I guess we're not getting our rain gear this year, then. 😬
Rebecca Harris said:This might be totally out of left field, but does anyone know where I can find the commercial for the festival online? 🙂

😍

I'm basically sprinting to grab a ticket now that I heard Chance the Rapper is on the lineup 😁
I'm such an idiot 😵, I really should have just bought it when it was still cheap.
