Finger stitches: What to expect? in Health ·
If you're feeling numbness or tingling in your finger, it usually means there’s nerve damage involved. You really ought to mention this to your doctor, because it isn't just a side effect of the stitches. I’ve had sutures before on several different occasions and never experienced anything like this, but when my nerve was actually damaged, everything felt completely numb.
Fordyce disease spots in Health ·
I’m dealing with the exact same thing. It hasn't affected my lower lip, but it shows up on my upper one quite a bit. I’ve had frequent outbreaks of herpes in the past, so I suspect there might be a connection between the two.
It’s really bothering me too, but I honestly have no idea what can be done to fix it.
If anyone happens to know of any effective solutions, I would truly appreciate the help.

It looks like the original poster is feeling better, but I wanted to share my own experience here.

I’ve had to undergo a colonoscopy twice now. The first time, I really struggled to get through that prep liquid they gave me. They suggested using mineral water as an extra way to flush things out, so I decided to go that route to make sure everything was clear before the procedure.

Some people seem to say that mineral water doesn't do much for them.
If you want to ensure you are completely cleared out, the mineral water needs to be warm. During the winter, I actually set the bottle on a radiator, or I'll just gently warm it up in the microwave.

In my opinion, it works for everyone eventually... personally, mineral water works best for me.

When I was prepping for my last colonoscopy, I didn't eat anything after lunch the day before. Instead, I just sipped on warm mineral water. I ended up drinking about 8 liters of it, and my system was completely clear by the time the procedure started.

I still deal with some occasional bowel irregularities, but if I drink some warm mineral water in the morning, things settle right back down.

Those sound like side effects. I wouldn't recommend taking more; instead, you should reach out to your psychiatrist or primary care physician immediately.
The medication's own instructions mention that it can trigger mood swings, potentially worsening depression or leading to thoughts of self-harm.
If you are feeling this bad right now, please call a doctor or a crisis line immediately.
Hang in there. Best regards,
