Hey there,

Does anyone happen to know what electrophoresis and immunodiffusion actually are? I've been trying to Google them, but the search results are all over the place and cover so many different topics that I'm feeling pretty lost.

Greetings from the back view 👋

I have to say, this is the part of my physique I’m actually most proud of. I don't have a before photo to show you, obviously—it didn't exactly occur to me to snap a picture while slouching with my shoulders rolled forward. If only I had been so thoughtful! 🙂

I wasn't quite sure what I was supposed to be doing here 🙈

Here are two more photos of that "problematic" section—though, if I'm being honest, it’s actually my favorite part because there are two really wonderful stories attached to it. I've also included a shot of my legs without any shapewear, since someone suggested that compression gear just hides the reality of things. So, there you go.

That’s everything I have to share regarding the photos. 😁

Here is my progress so far.
It feels a bit awkward for a woman to be posting progress photos right after placidtiger21, but here we go, God help me 🙂 and yes, obviously taken with a touchscreen just like everyone else claims to do.

I've been hitting the gym for about 5.5 months now, after nothing for nearly 15 years.🙏time:

The quads.

Lower back and the glutes.

Shoulders and biceps.😍

I’m not going to post the midsection until I get my body fat down to the 17-18% range. My back has made some great progress too, but I just can't seem to get a good angle for the photo.

👋

edit: looking at it again, I can kind of see the muffin top in that first photo, haha. Oh my.
Best protein powders for muscle gain? in Hobbies & Leisure ·
jadedrifter2 said:I’m going to burn it all down. 😁 It’s honestly tough to pin down which shakes are truly the best. If you aren't interested in those pre-mixed powders, then I’d suggest sticking to what we talked about earlier: save that specific shake for after your workout, but before you start training, focus on getting some carbohydrates in—things like bananas, raisins, or even just some honey. You might want to consider switching to whey protein powder rather than those ready-to-drink liquid versions you see at places like Target or Walmart. A high-quality powder is much better for post-workout recovery because it's difficult to replicate those specific nutritional benefits with solid food alone. That said, grabbing a chocolate milk after a session isn't a bad idea either. I don't think you need to overthink your diet too much right now. Given your height and weight, you likely have a pretty fast metabolism, so you probably aren't struggling to keep weight on regardless. Just train hard and the results will follow.

I’m just sitting here jotting down those ingredients you mentioned for that shake recipe. I wanted to make sure I had it right. After my workout tonight, I decided to mix together an egg, some chocolate milk, and a banana—I actually cut out the Oreos this time around. To top it all off, I just finished a big serving of cottage cheese with olive oil and washed it down with two bottles of kefir. Honestly, I think I've hit my limit for the evening. 😁
It’s true, I really do have a very fast metabolism. During my second pregnancy, I gained about 40 pounds, but those extra pounds just melted away within a few months without me lifting a single finger. Honestly, I was eating like there was no tomorrow because my son was breastfeeding, and I didn't want to risk my milk supply drying up. But it doesn't matter; 150 is that stubborn number I just can't seem to move past, no matter what I do. At this point, I'm pretty sure hitting the gym is the only thing keeping me sane. 😍

Hey there!
I could really use some advice. I’ve been hitting the gym for about a month now with the goal of putting on some solid weight and really sculpting my physique. I’m already seeing progress and I am honestly so proud of myself—I've put on about five pounds, my skin tone feels different, my muscle definition is starting to show, and my glutes are definitely shaping up in all the right places. My arms and shoulders are also starting to take shape. 😁 I’m making a real effort to eat well and stay hydrated, and my appetite has actually increased, though I’ve never really struggled with eating enough in the past. Based on your experiences, what are the best shakes for pre- and post-workout nutrition if the goal is gaining mass? Just to be clear, I don't have any intention of relying on powders or "magic" supplements; I don't mind them, but I’d much rather stick to whole, natural foods. (For context, I'm 5'9" and about 120 lbs)

@jadedrifter2/">@@jadedrifter2, let's hear those tips. 🙂
