I'm working on this PC setup and trying to run everything via USB. I've already put together a bootable drive.

Motherboard:
ASUS ROG Motherboard

I just tried booting Windows from a USB drive on my laptop, but when I check the BIOS on my desktop, it says it only supports HARD and CDROM. Is there a way to enable USB support within the BIOS settings itself, or am I stuck having to perform a BIOS update...

BIOS:
Intel, LTD 6.00 PG, 5/23/2008.

It won't even boot from the USB. When I try to launch the BIOS, it just throws an error saying this specific version only supports hard drives and CD-ROM drives.
I mean, I literally used that same DVD on a laptop just the other day and everything worked perfectly fine...

This is the machine I'm working on. It just occurred to me that this might be a DVD-R rather than a +R, which could be causing the headache... I'll try booting via USB instead.

I'm running into a headache while trying to format my Windows installation... I went into the BIOS and set it to boot from the CD/DVD drive, disabling the other two options, but it just skips right past everything. It goes straight from the BIOS splash screen to the Windows boot loader without ever giving me the chance to hit a key to start the disc... 🤷

My nose started leaking like crazy today... just the right nostril, too, and it’s strictly clear liquid—none of that nasty green stuff :P. It’s been itching every five or ten minutes, practically forcing me to sneeze constantly... my right eye is watering like hell, too. I was running a fever and dealing with a sore throat back on Monday and Tuesday, nothing out of the ordinary, really; I was prescribed some Azithromycin for the throat. I guess I'm wondering if anyone knows of any decent home remedies??
P.S. In all my 17 years, I've never actually dealt with allergies before.
