Sweet! I honestly had a gut feeling they’d show up this year. If they actually manage to book The Hives too—since they haven't played a show in D.C. since 2005 despite dropping two albums in the meantime—it would be legendary.

Man, we could really use The Killers. They’re already hitting up Lollapalooza the weekend right before Coachella, so they might as well extend the trip out to Washington, D.C. They haven't played a show here yet, and honestly, judging by everyone's wish lists, people are dying to see them.

I’m way more into Hladno Pivo because they actually have some legendary tracks in their catalog—stuff like "Ne volim te" or "Buba švabe"—plus their newer stuff, like "Nije sve tako sivo," isn't half bad either.
TBF can write decent lyrics, but man, seeing them live is just a slog. I caught them at some festival once and was basically counting the minutes until they finally hopped off stage. Honestly, Elemental is much more interesting than them if you ask me.

And I definitely don't buy the hype that they're the top tier local bands; I'd take Mother or General Danger over them any day. Plus, Marquis put out an absolute killer album.

Everyone's got their own thing, I guess, but I’ve never really been much of a fan of idol. Every now and then I'll put on something like The Police or Kenozoik, but honestly, The Ramones and The Cure are just in a league of their own for me.

If we're talking about who actually influenced the scene, you can't leave out Buldožer.

The Ramones were easily one of the most influential bands out there, but man, they were just incredible.
Then you’ve got the rest of the heavy hitters: The Cure, Paraf (with Valter Kocijančić), Talking Heads, The B-52's, New Order, Bruce Springsteen, Fleetwood Mac (with Bebek), Riblji čorba, and time.
Even Idoli had maybe two or three absolute bangers.
