Cold beer or a TBF?

Top tier American indie bands—both of them are absolute fire. Now I’m curious which one you guys dig more. They both just dropped new albums and they’re both killers. Which one takes the win for you and why? Personally, I’m leaning toward TBF, but what about you guys?

I mean, why not just throw up a poll or something? 🤷
If you're honestly that obsessed with seeing the results right away, it would be way easier...

I’m way more interested in why someone actually likes certain stuff rather than just counting how many people dig TBF versus HP

Budweiser just doesn't hold a candle to TBF........... I personally feel that some of the articles over at TBF don't seem to have much logic behind them at all

Honestly, I was totally over the Budweiser at that massive concert out at Santa Monica—it just wasn't my vibe! I hadn't really caught up on any of their newer stuff, and I wasn't exactly keeping up with the old classics either, but I kept thinking, "Hey, why don't they play something romantic?" You know, something soft, intimate, maybe even a little sterile? And then, of course, I'm standing there and they perform exactly those kinds of songs (especially Planet 🤮 )! Anyway, Edward Davis11 hasn't really listened to much since the Maxon era, but honestly, I still think they're worth seeing live! 🙂

Budweiser has gone way too mainstream lately—honestly, their last two or three albums have been pretty weak compared to how they used to be. Those early records were on a whole different level, seriously.

TBF makes some great, laid-back tracks from the latest album if you just want to chill out.

Honestly, both bands are solid; they might actually be some of the best active groups on the US scene right now. Pivo has been around longer than TBF and definitely has a more extensive discography, but if you ask me, their latest album is probably the weakest one they've ever put out. On the flip side, TBF absolutely crushed it this year with an incredible new release.
For me, TBF takes the lead this year just because that new album is so good, but looking at the big picture, both bands are top-tier.

Between those two bands and Dead Kennedys, they’re pretty much the only acts from our local music scene worth sitting through in a live setting. I can't really say which one tops the other; it just depends on my mood.
