So, I dropped off a package this past Friday via certified mail, yet it still hasn't reached its destination. To make matters worse, I just went to check my receipt, and for some inexplicable reason, the date printed on it says August 11, 2011.
I find myself wondering, how is that even possible? Is it plausible that someone at the USPS is running some sort of disorganized scheme behind the scenes?

My apologies if a thread regarding this topic already exists; I simply failed to locate one during my search.
I find myself wondering whether maintaining an "unnatural" circadian rhythm—for instance, sleeping from 4:00 PM until midnight—is truly detrimental to one's health. Even if one manages to clock a full eight hours of sleep, I am curious about the actual extent of the damage. If such a schedule is indeed harmful, what are the specific physiological consequences we should expect?
