Just a low-key night to hang out and get things moving before a pretty busy psycho season hits this fall and winter. We're looking at a big lineup for 2010/11... I think we'll be hosting the Raygun Cowboys (from Canada, September 26, 2010, http://www.myspace.com/rayguncowboys, check out their album here: http://www.mediafire.com/?pu2ahzmy2lw), then later we've got The Quakes (from the US, October 25, http://www.myspace.com/thequakes, their latest album is over at http://www.mediafire.com/?qtddxmqnc1m), and if everything works out, we might even pull a second release from OPENYOURLEGS on December 4, 2010 http://www.myspace.com/openyerlegz.

Any idea what's playing tonight? Maybe some old school punk stuff, like unknown or maybe those unknown vibes

So, I guess, even though it’s about a year late, we finally have a promo coming through for the debut album from this awesome Italian psychobilly group. They actually started out back in 2004 under the name Screaming Vibrators, and after a few lineup shifts, they settled into their current form as The Snakes in 2006. They've always been big supporters of Meteors—I think we actually caught them opening for the Meteors at a club in Chicago a couple of years ago. Late last year, they put out their first big track, Mondo Serp, via Maddog Records.
Tickets are $8.25 if you grab them early (available at KSET and Dirty Old Shop), but maybe expect to pay $12 at the door.
Doors open around 8:00 PM, and the show should kick off at 9:30 PM.
opening act: REVOLTS

We're rolling with something here, so I was just wondering...
Just a quick heads-up that the gig is happening tonight. It starts at 8:30 PM, since they need to wrap things up by 10:00 PM, and I guess the lounge stays open from 7:00 PM until 1:00 AM, as usual
It was honestly such a blast, which makes me think the next one might be even better!
Hey everyone, thanks so much for all the support! 👍

The set starts pretty early, maybe around 8:30, since they need to wrap everything up by 10
then there’s the whole ear-ringing session from all that Cash until about 1 🙂

Man, I guess Metaltrash is a decent enough place to hang out for a bit while we work on making our move...
plus, the crew running things there are honestly such good people!
the stage setup is pretty chill too, though it probably could use a little more grease or something 😉

Alex Scott22 said:So, how'd it go? Did anyone actually show up? Was it a ghost town?
Everyone showed up looking like zombies, but they all headed home in high spirits, I guess.😉
The local draft beer was pretty solid too—no headache at all, even after having five.
A few regulars stopped by, plus a couple of the hot rod crowd.
Next time, we're looking at May 6th (another Wednesday, I think), and we're thinking about booking a Cash tribute band. They're already famous for being... well, pretty excessive with the Cash. Maybe AJhman could play once too, right?
I guess I just messed up, feralgardener59 was faster than me... 👍

Metallica, haha...
Someone should probably tell Nicole Baker she’s way too young to be hanging out at AOL!
Or maybe not, I guess she could just book a show there instead, hehe.

Alright, sounds good. They're hitting New York City in September and might end up swinging back through here again...
They found the Pepsi!!!
He’s claiming he never even lost his way, and that there’s someone—not without reason, I suppose—spreading misinformation out there.
WCIF used to be the gold standard, but trying to go toe-to-toe with The Traitors? It’s just laughable, really.
It seems pretty obvious that the critics around here just prefer a much softer sound >🙂
But hey, to each their own, I guess...
