A few people have been pointing me toward Dr. Gnjidić. What’s the consensus on him? (And does anyone know which clinic he’s at?)
Alright, I need some quick advice regarding spinal surgery. I’ve got an L4-L5 bulge of 3.3 mm and an L5-S1 dorso-medial protrusion of 12.0 mm. It's pressing right against the cauda equina and both S1 nerve roots—basically, it's a mess. I’ve done the CT and MRI, and everyone from the radiology specialists to Dr. Blajic in Zadar is telling me I need surgery ASAP.
Since I don't want to just take one neurosurgeon's word for it, can anyone recommend someone else who is considered among the absolute best in the US?
EDIT: NEUROSURGEON!
Yeah, I'm going through CT!
Right now, I'm just waiting on an MRI. Even though they told me surgery is urgent, it feels like they aren't in any real rush. But hey, I’ll take whatever luck I can get—I'm hoping to get it done in the next few days. Once that's finished, I'm sending the results back to my specialist in New York to get a second opinion, just so everything stays under one roof. Then, I'll just hunker down and deal with it.
As for the chiropractor, I was only asking because everyone keeps telling me to go see one. Honestly, I'm pretty skeptical. Until I hear what my doctor says after the MRI, I've decided I'm not doing anything else.
So, I’m facing emergency spinal surgery. They found a 12mm herniated disc that's slamming into my nerves. The pain is hitting my lower back, mostly on the left side of my glute, and it shoots all the way down to my foot. My calf muscles are numb and even the toes on my left foot feel tingly. I need an MRI before the surgery, but the waitlist is massive. I'm actually thinking about taking some time off work just to get this sorted within the next week. In the meantime, I was considering seeing a chiropractor to see if they can help ease the pressure. Given what's going on with my spine, would you guys even recommend that? I'm terrified of making the situation way worse...

I actually had my own stuff sent through other people since I’d be doing the exact same thing back then anyway.

It’s been six months since I last did my sanitary screening and now it’s time again. Since I always work the morning shift, would it be okay if I just handed my sample over to someone else to drop off for me? Is that going to cause any issues???
Alright, let's get this show on the road! 😁😁😁 Seriously though, what's the deal with the prices? Can anyone give me the lowdown on that post above?
So, look, it’s been about 3 or 4 days since conception, and she just picked up a pregnancy test from $17, but it came back negative (just showed one red line). My big question is: if her period is already 3 or 4 days late, can you actually tell if she's pregnant yet, or is it too early?
She doesn't have her own OBGYN... so I just called Dr. Vlatković Ivica, a private specialist over in San Diego, and we’re heading there this Friday. What I really need to know is roughly how much a single exam runs. Also, if they suspect she might be pregnant, what kind of extra tests do they run, about how much do those cost, and how long does it usually take to get the results back? Sorry guys, I've had a bit too much to drink, but I've gotta find a way to calm her down.
Hey there. Quick question—how long is the typical wait for a gynecologist appointment? My girl is about 3 or 4 days late with her period, and she’s starting to freak out thinking she might be pregnant, though I'm pretty sure nothing "went wrong" here.
I don't know a ton about 64-bit Windows, other than the fact that they can actually handle more than 3 gigs of RAM... As for those "Gamer Edition" versions of Windows XP, those are just custom builds made by random users online. They basically strip out all the background processes that eat up your memory. Honestly, there are millions of these tweaks floating around out there! I’m running a Windows XP Service Pack 3 performance edition that's only 230 MB because they cut out all the junk and useless bloatware. It runs flawlessly for me... I haven't run into a single error or anything weird so far; it works just as smoothly as any standard Windows XP install!
That Gamer Edition won't recognize more than 3 gigs of RAM since it's still 32-bit!
You can totally mix and match different brands of graphics cards!
Where can I find something similar to Compiz??? Something that actually works just as well!
So, my left hand has been acting up—specifically my pinky and the area right next to it. It tingles a few times a day, but once night hits, it just goes completely numb. I feel like I’ve lost all strength in it; whenever I grab something, my hand starts shaking like it's giving out on me. If anyone has any idea what this could be, please let me know... I’m seeing my doctor tomorrow, but a little reassurance would go a long way right now.
I forgot to mention—not sure if it's related, but: I get these occasional sharp pains in my chest too. I went to the ER for some tests and they couldn't find anything wrong, even though it felt like a stabbing sensation at the time.
Also, my back is killing me when I wake up in the morning. I really need to stretch out just to feel human again.
I do spend quite a bit of time at my desk on the computer, probably a few hours every day, so maybe that's part of it.
This one is way better than the last version! If you haven't grabbed it yet, you really should—it works like magic when you run it alongside ConEd!
A year and a half soon!!! Honestly, that's basically just her birthday celebration at this point!!!
I’m totally stuck! Should I go with a ring—nothing crazy expensive, maybe around $50—or a little necklace with an engraving? Help me out here!
