Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
Does anyone have recommendations for ENT specialists in New York City?

I'm facing quite a dilemma—it’s regarding sinus surgery.

Dr. South - St. Spirit
Dr. Grgić - Vinogradska
Dr. Janjanin and Dr. Mladina - Rebro

I'm facing quite a few dilemmas here—it's all about sinus surgery.

Dr. South at Saint Jude
Dr. Grgić at Mayo Clinic
Dr. Janjanin and Dr. Mladin
Help!

Seriously, Harry Potter! 😠 😠 😠

A yellow envelope was sent out—but it hasn't arrived at the address yet.
It didn't get sent back to me either.
Where on earth is it?!?! 😠

I have the receipt right here—but the local Post Office won't help since it wasn't sent via certified mail.

Bad angle—feeling a bit awkward about this one😬

Basically, my goal is to snatch my waist and lift my glutes—though they look a bit lower here than I'd like🤦

That said, I’ve always been most confident about my arms and legs🙂

I think this shot actually shows my face better😬

Specifically that area between my lower back and my glutes—you know, the waistline..
I don't have any shots of just my stomach—it looks fine when I'm standing, but once I sit down, it's a different story😁

Which box should I check on the notification—you know, the one for when you need to collect the cash after shipping something via COD?

Thanks! 🙂

So, I’m reaching out because I could really use some help here 🙂

URGENTLY looking for an ENT specialist—someone great for sinus-related nose surgery!
Any hospital in the Washington, D.C. area works—I just need someone highly skilled!

Feel free to shoot me a DM 🙂

ruggedeagle95 said:I have a feeling someone like that doesn't actually exist... I'm searching too, but honestly, I don't care if they're private practice or covered by the Social Security Administration 😉

I’d definitely suggest my doctor—Mirela Njegač at Hondlov's over in Central Park

She takes Social Security Administration, though I usually pay a bit extra for the white coat fee plus anesthesia—it comes out to $50! Otherwise, she's $100!

She's super pleasant and easy to talk to—plus their equipment is top-notch
The only downside? You'll have to wait about 2 weeks for an appointment 🙂
Hey everyone! 🙂

The more I read through this thread, the more anxious I get!

I’m dealing with constant sinus infections and throat issues—my entire upper respiratory tract is just a mess right now 😠 so I've decided to go ahead with a sinus CT scan and get all the necessary testing done... even if it means surgery

If anyone here has been through something similar and actually got it sorted out, could you please reach out via DM or post here which doctor you saw and what the process was like?

I'm planning on seeing an ENT at either Rebro Hospital or the other major clinic—I really don't want to go to a plastic surgeon since this is a genuine health issue 😉

By the way, to everyone who has already made it through surgery—huge props to you! I truly admire your bravery! 🙂 🙂

Stay far away—seriously!!! A friend of mine went in for polyp surgery and they left her with a huge bump on her nose—they messed up her cartilage so badly she had to go back for another procedure just to get everything straightened out again.

right under this thread🤣

Thanks, but that wasn't quite what I had in mind😬

Do you happen to have a definitive breakdown of who's on which side—you know, the "green" versus the "red" teams? I see there's a massive praise and critique thread, but I really don't have the patience to scroll through over 100 pages of that!
Not really related to the post 😁

Does anyone know where I can find that green and red status list for the ladies on the forum?
Elizabeth Brown90 said:I think it’s over $50—and if you're sending stuff outside the US, you have to go to the specific international shipping desk at the main USPS hub, which has its own separate entrance rather than the standard counter.😉

Thanks for the info!🙂

Oof, that's steep—the shipping costs more than the actual item itself! 😬
Quick question please

Roughly how much would shipping cost from NYC-Chicago to a place like St. Louis for a package containing some shoes?
Should I get my tonsils removed? in Health ·
Sophia Clark68 said:I actually got the same recommendation to have my tonsils out—mostly because of those constant bouts of strep throat. My aunt—who’s an ENT specialist—was pretty blunt about it—she said there's no way I should risk it—better to just deal with strep throat than end up fighting pneumonia!
I honestly think it helped me so much that I went to high school in Santa Barbara—spending all that time breathing in the ocean air really did the trick. My tonsillitis just vanished—poof!—like an eraser wiped it away.

Everyone’s got their own story—it's just how things go! 🤷

Well, looks like I'm off—heading out to wait at the hospital for my appointment. Wish me luck! 😢

Ugh, alright then—that’s really it... I just need to find the time to actually get to it...

thanks🙂

I deal with a sore throat pretty much every two weeks during the winter months—it’s a constant cycle. Even if I’m careful—God forbid I drink cold milk straight from the fridge or an iced Coke—it still happens. A couple of times a year, it even turns into full-blown strep throat.

Throughout the winter, I stick to tea with honey and take some immune support drops to try and stay ahead of it, but the throat pain always finds me anyway. 😢
Is this the kind of situation where getting my tonsils removed actually makes sense?

I know you guys aren't doctors, but I'd love to hear your thoughts since the waiting rooms at the local clinics are absolute madness lately—it feels like everyone is fighting for a spot! I really don't want to waste my time going in for nothing.🤷

My parents are totally against it, though; they think if I get them out, everything will just move straight to my lungs and I'll end up being sick with colds constantly.🤷 😕

Thanks! 🙂
just bringing this back up to the top!
Just one more thing I wanted to toss in—could AC issues be part of the problem too??

For instance, I share an office space and sometimes getting everyone on the same page is a struggle—one person is freezing while someone else is basically melting 😁😁😁

But honestly, during those intense summer heatwaves, you really need it—especially in a room packed with three or four workstations...
Here’s a little routine I’ve started doing—I just take five minutes to blink intentionally, which helps keep things hydrated and really eases that tight feeling around my eyes😉

I also massage my feet and legs with a grape seed extract cream to help with circulation and vein health

As for my head... I haven't quite found the perfect solution yet... 😬
Jessica Cook11 said:Grab yourself a Pilates ball—get a bigger one and just sit on it! It’s been a total lifesaver for my circulation—honestly, such a game changer—though you definitely have to get used to the whole "sitting on a ball" thing first.🙂

Hmm... I honestly have no idea what the boss would say about this one—it’s kind of a toss-up! 😁😁
