I had my thyroid levels tested over at Mount Sinai. It felt like it was about $17. I can't recall the exact figure... It’s entirely possible the price jumps if you're adding reproductive hormones to the mix. I don't think there's going to be a massive difference in cost at other hospitals. Your best bet is to just give Mayo Clinic a call and ask them directly.

I've been seeing Dr. Calloway at the rib clinic for two years now. She was recommended to me right when I turned 18. Since I already have a diagnosis, I really just go in for regular checkups. Has anyone else ever had a hospital slap them with a bill for a test they never even took? I’m talking about a supplemental insurance claim here. I didn't undergo this procedure, so how on earth did they come up with this? It's not like someone swiped my insurance card, so I have absolutely no clue where they're getting this from! I don't even carry supplemental coverage right now, so I pay my way for every visit—full price. Specifically, I just got hit with a bill for a spirometry test. I’ve done that one single time in my entire life, and that was over a decade ago. Honestly, I am completely baffled! Of course I’m going to file a dispute, but I really just want to know why they sent me a fraudulent bill and if anyone else has dealt with this nonsense.
Ibuprofen really does the trick for me 😍 It kicks in fast, which is my absolute priority since the pain makes me feel like I’m about to pass out... but then again, you ladies all know exactly how that feels, don't you? 🙄 Ugh, why on earth do we women have to endure so much... 😠 Hang in there, girl! 👍
I’m not even sure if I’ve ever posted here before, but I’ve been lurking in this thread... mostly... so I figured I’d join the club. 😢 I can't pin down exactly when the pain started—whether it was there from my very first period or kicked in later on—but I'm pretty sure it started after a while. Anyway, my legs just absolutely ache. Maybe it's a circulation issue or something? I've gained a little weight recently, so maybe there's a connection there. On top of that, I get nauseous and feel like I’m actually going to pass out. Honestly, without painkillers and sleep, I wouldn't make it through. 😢 Right now, I’m taking half a dose of Ibuprofen because I’m also on another medication and I don't really want to mix too many things up. But lately, even that hasn't been helping much. Usually, the pain subsides pretty quickly, but maybe I’ll have to start taking the full pill. Sometimes I get lucky and the pain doesn't hit, but unfortunately, that’s rare. 😢 I know I’m supposed to take magnesium beforehand, but ugh... I always forget, even though I did recently start taking some vitamins. Once or twice, working out a day or two before helped and I didn't have any pain, but just when I thought I had found a solution... it stopped working. I haven't seen a gynecologist yet, but I should probably go soon. Today was another day of brutal pain. Maybe I should just take a pill the second I feel those first signs of discomfort... but I always think to myself, "Oh, it probably won't be that bad." Well, yeah... I'm 19. So, yeah... that's my situation.
I’m telling you, they absolutely need to bring out Kanye West..😁 And Lil Wayne too! I could even show up for Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, though like you guys said... I have my doubts... There's always some kind of rumor floating around, but I just wish they'd finally announce at least one performer or give us something concrete to work with...😢
