I checked out that monitor too. Honestly, it feels a little oversized for my setup, but the price point is hard to argue with. I’ll probably just grab it now and look into upgrading my GPU sometime next year. 😁
Look, I don't even bother with AAA titles the second they drop anyway. Besides, I’d much rather grab a 1440p monitor now and just worry about upgrading my GPU a couple of years down the line.
What’s your take on this monitor if I'm looking for one of the cheaper options out there?
Gaming is definitely my main thing. I honestly thought the 1070 would handle 1440p just fine—I haven't actually put it to the test yet, but that's what everyone on Reddit seemed to say. 🤷
Can anyone give me some advice on picking out a new monitor? Honestly, I’m about as clueless as they come when it comes to this stuff.
My GPU is a GTX 1070. Let's say the screen needs to be at least 21.5''—though obviously, bigger is better. I need at least Full HD, but again, higher resolution is always preferred. Maybe up to 1600-$567 max. Thanks.
Look, I get that the setup is top-tier, but the real headache is they don't have any physical storefronts around here. I'm totally in the dark about how their installment plans or credit card processing actually works. I sent them an email to figure it out. Either way, huge thanks to Smartik.
