So, I’m looking to ship out a phone using a COD (cash on delivery) service. If the item itself is valued at $2,700, how much extra is the buyer actually going to be on the hook for in terms of fees—or whatever they call them—to the USPS??!?! 🤷 I just really don't want to end up in a situation where the whole package gets sent right back to me... 🙄
um, I was just wondering, roughly how much would it cost to ship a package weighing somewhere between 30 and 40kg? According to the USPS website, they charge about $0.75 or $0.90 for every single kilogram over the initial 10—so, if I'm doing the math right, I’d end up paying maybe $35 - $13. 😕 Is it just me, or does that amount seem way too low?🤷
Wait, did the folks over at Duke Energy get rid of that online price estimator? I’ve been hunting for it everywhere but I can't seem to find it anywhere😕
Elizabeth Baker38 said:You can just run the numbers through the USPS website—just make sure you select international shipping options when you're looking it up.
It’ll show up right there on the screen if you select the option to send it as a package. $34😲...just like a printed flyer. $13.

So, I actually sat down and crunched all those numbers myself—really went through the whole thing—but honestly? I was just hoping someone might come along and suggest a different way to look at it. You know how it is, sometimes you get so stuck in your own logic that you need a fresh perspective to snap you out of it. And then, well, I ended up getting totally distracted by those... $33☕🙄

It’s definitely a printed document.
So, I’m looking at sending two books over to New York City—they probably weigh somewhere around a pound or so total. Does anyone know what the shipping costs might look like for something like that? ☕
