Even if we were talking about a certified letter with return receipt requested?
That’s an interesting perspective—though, honestly, in my case, things turned out perfectly. I really ought to head over to the post and tidy that up a bit.

So, I was looking into this too—it says a written request is required. Now, does that mean there’s some official form you just need to fill out, or am I going to have to sit down and actually compose some nonsense from scratch? Honestly, sometimes these administrative things feel like they're designed just to make us jump through hoops!
Hey there,

I’m expecting some mail to arrive at my place over the next little while—most likely certified letters with return receipts included. To be perfectly honest, I’d really rather not have anything delivered directly to my doorstep! So, I was wondering if anyone could point me toward the easiest way to avoid that.

I was browsing the USPS website and noticed they have an option to hold mail at the local post office. If I go that route, how would they actually notify me if a certified letter or something requiring a signature shows up?
