I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how much "fairness" in sports actually depends on the rules staying the same once you've already started the game. We all grow up with this idea that if you follow the handbook, you get the reward. But lately, it feels like the governing bodies are constantly rewriting the playbook mid-season, and it leaves the people who actually put in the work feeling totally abandoned.
It’s one thing to update rules for the future, but it’s another thing entirely when those changes effectively strip away opportunities that were promised to people who are already deep into their careers. It feels less like "progress" and more like a breach of trust. When you commit years of your life to a specific path, you're operating under a certain set of expectations. If the people at the top can just pivot whenever they feel like it, what’s the point of the commitment?
Do you think there should be "grandfather clauses" for every major rule change in competitive organizations, or is it just the nature of the game to adapt as things evolve?
I’ve been dealing with some right hip pain for about two years now. It isn't debilitating, but it’s starting to become a nuisance. My right knee also feels somewhat unstable. I had imaging done for both. The knee results were unremarkable, but regarding the hip, they noted discrete sclerosis of the acetabular roof on the right side. Here is the image of the hip: https://s9.postimg.org/ngwzksae7/509...0f73817b95.jpg
If anyone could offer some insight, I'd appreciate it. What should my next steps be? For context, I'm in my 30s.
Given the way they played, finishing third or fourth would still be a major win. Honestly, I didn't see a single clever pass or a coordinated play throughout this entire tournament, which makes me wonder what exactly they're practicing during training sessions. 🤦
We have plenty of talent, but we lack any sense of cohesion on the court.
... it’s an embarrassment to compete with only seven players. 🤣

First, perhaps brush up on basic grammar; "cannot" is two distinct words, not one fused together. It’s a simple matter of negation... 🙂
Second, you missed my point entirely. At the end of the day—be it a race, a month, or an entire season—nothing matters except the points on the scoreboard. That is the only thing recorded; everything else is just noise. One shouldn't concern themselves with the opinions of random forum users, journalists, or any other bystander... but as you noted, "there are all sorts of limited people out there"... 🙂

That isn't Kimi🍿, Friday's free practice sessions should provide enough clarity..
To be honest, Microsoft makes subpar power supplies; a 400W unit from Corsair will outperform that Microsoft junk any day. As for the RAM, the sticks don't necessarily need to be identical.
I click once, yet it registers two or three times.🙂 The device is just over a year old; I tried opening it up, but everything looks pristine inside. Is this an internal hardware issue, or am I missing something else?

I’ve been using a basic JPMorgan Chase account since my college days, specifically their tech sector card. Which package should I upgrade to if I just want to monitor my balance and transaction history online? I don't actually need payment functionality; I simply need visibility into the account activity. My main priority is finding the option with the lowest possible monthly fee. Thanks.
Regarding the small hole resulting from my septoplasty... My surgeon claims it's perfectly normal, but I’m wondering if it will eventually need to be patched with some kind of button or synthetic material.🙄
Has anyone else dealt with a perforation following a septal procedure?
A septal perforation is essentially a hole in the nasal septum, resulting from trauma, a hematoma, surgical intervention, or cocaine abuse via nasal insufflation. Over time, the opening can enlarge, leading to a collapse of the nasal bridge—often referred to as a saddle nose deformity. Treatment requires surgery, and the prognosis largely depends on the size of the perforation.
I can't actually see it, but I can feel the air rushing through when I block one nostril; even if I press my finger against the hole, I still feel that airflow. I tried spraying saline near the opening yesterday, and it just shot right out the other side.🙂 I have a follow-up appointment on the 5th, so I should have more definitive answers then.

As for the air issue, I think you’re exaggerating. It’s been a month since my surgery and the sensation is just as bizarre... it feels like the airflow is turbulent, and honestly, it hurts more now than right after the procedure. Dr. Boduen mentioned that this is just part of the healing process.
On another note, I am completely dissatisfied... My nose was reconstructed crookedly. I have a follow-up appointment at the Mayo Clinic tomorrow, so I’ll make sure they hear my concerns.
I’m not exaggerating; the reality is that I have a blockage. When I plug one nostril, the air rushes through the other... It’s frustrating because one side feels blocked even though I can breathe normally; it’s only when I plug the top near the bone that the blockage becomes an actual breathing problem.
I used Nazal for a week and Aqua Maris for a month, but neither spray seems capable of dissolving something that has dried out this much. I’ve tried spraying one side and then blowing it out through the other.
