Oh, look at you, Mr. Vegetarian. Glad to hear it. 😁

What do I think? Honestly, I can’t remember the last time I heard something quite this ridiculous. ☕

Jada? 😲

People actually tried to convince me I was losing my mind when I kept pointing out that exact same thing. 🤣

Druid said:I’d honestly suggest you just stick to the basics and leave the philosophy out of it. Seriously. Either find a job in some government bureaucracy where you can follow rules all day long—where at least you'll know what the criteria are—but they don't exactly love drinkers over there since it messes with the system's efficiency. It's better for people like that to just hide behind a philosophical facade.

And who exactly are you to be making suggestions like that? Just because someone holds a moderator position doesn't mean they have the right to patronize others while everyone else stays silent—right?

Look, I'm reading this and trying to be objective here, and honestly, I didn't see the Executioner cross any lines or act rude at any point. Sure, he's cynical. He's ambiguous. But there's nothing wrong with that.

Publicly calling someone out, deciding if they are "capable" of philosophy, or telling them whether they should be posting here or working in some specific administrative office... it's pretty pathetic, if you ask me. Besides, it's bordering on an insult.

Personally, I don't see anything wrong with letting people say whatever they want, however they want to say it—whether we call it philosophy or something else.

Same goes for me. 😛

Honestly, I’m all for it. It would be pretty cool to get a diverse group of people together, grab some drinks, and just sit around chatting about a specific topic. 👍

I actually tried pushing a similar idea back when I was in college. It ended up being this cycle where I’d grab articles or snippets from various papers, pass them around, and everyone would act totally thrilled—but then, it always turned into the same thing. You’d show up to these "discussion groups" and there would be maybe three and a half people there, which were just the same folks I already hung out with anyway, talking about the same stuff. It wasn't exactly the breakthrough I was hoping for.

The upside, though, was that we always had plenty to talk about. Plus, it served as a perfect excuse to get together once a week—ideally at a local brewery. That way, we could grab a drink while we chatted. It felt a bit like having our own little weekly Symposium, you know? 😁
