Personal loan via Diners? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
How does that revolving credit on a Diners card actually work? Does it mean if I charge something like $3333, they just hit me with a 4% monthly fee?
Federal Reserve - overdraft limits in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·

If those three paychecks—even after you've taken some deductions—still put you above that maximum limit, or even just slightly below it, the bank probably won't bother reducing your overdraft limit on your checking account.

Ah, I see. Thanks for clarifying. Based on my math, if we're looking at the average of my last six paychecks, it looks like I'd only be $333 short

I see. What makes you say that?

Hey everyone, I need some advice regarding my overdraft. As of May 15th, I’m looking to adjust my limit at the Federal Reserve branch I use. Right now, it’s set at 300% of my salary, which is about $1,100, but over the last three months, our pay has been cut by roughly $60-$$300. I’m planning on heading into the bank tomorrow and was wondering what I should expect from them. Specifically, how much will they reduce my limit? Based on my own math, looking at my last six paychecks, it seems like the reduction would only be about $333, which feels manageable to me if that's even how they calculate it... Also, is it possible to negotiate a structured repayment plan instead? Thanks

That motherboard won't work with that CPU, and you're planning to throw in a $50 power supply? Hilarious.

It isn't going to work in theory 😁 let alone in reality. 👏👏

Oops, my bad, I totally messed up the input😁

$4,500 without the hard drive. I actually found a new one for $117 with a warranty on eBay 🙂

What kind of power supply would you recommend? Maybe something around $117 if possible, just to make sure everything stays stable?

edit: http://www.newegg.com/p/power-supplies... Would this be enough?*

Thanks for the suggestions, but I actually found a much better CPU and GPU combo for that same budget near $1667. It felt like you guys were throwing in stuff I don't really need, like that $100 case, which just isn't a priority for me right now...

Hey everyone, I'm planning on putting together a new PC with a budget of around $1667. I'm leaning towards an AMD platform—I wouldn't want anything less than an AMD FX-6300, paired with 8GB of 1600MHz RAM and a Radeon R9 280 graphics card. My main question is about where to buy the parts... since I'll be ordering through an online retailer and paying with a credit card, does anyone have recommendations on where I can get the best deal?
