Are we talking about the issue where nothing shows up, or that mess with the folders?
That whole thing where nothing is visible already happened to me too, and honestly, it just cleared itself up on its own... 😁
I've been running Windows 7 for about two months now and everything is smooth as silk, except for this one annoying thing where all the folders I "pin" to the jump list in Windows XP just keep vanishing. All I'm left with are the recent folders... The last time they bailed on me was January 14th, and I pinned a few more folders back then, but now they're gone again, just disappearing into thin air...😕
Had to wipe my whole drive because of a virus, reinstalled Windows 7, and did it all in American... Now I have zero clue how to get rid of this password prompt at boot, you know, the user account one. I have to type it in every single time before I can even get into Windows, and honestly, it's starting to get on my nerves... I'm already fed up from having to format the entire disk, and now I've got this to deal with too.
Can anyone help me out with how to ditch this password?
Thanks!
have you tried clicking Start—your profile picture—and hitting remove password or http://www.softwaretipsandtricks.com...Login-Password
if I make the jump to 64-bit, what's the deal with software... do I need to hunt down specific versions just for 64-bit or will all this 32-bit stuff still run on a 64-bit system?

So what am I even doing wrong with 7 and my internet connection?...
Ever since I set up Windows 7, my router keeps dropping the connection... I just get local access for like two or three minutes before everything starts working perfectly again, but then after a while, the whole damn thing happens all over again. Anyone else dealt with this kind of crap?

I managed to fix the first issue using Google, but that MTP USB driver is driving me crazy; I can't find what I need anywhere. Has anyone else run into this? Also, Device Manager is showing an "unknown device" under Other Devices... any idea what that could be?
Anyway, Windows 7 is alright, though it feels pretty stupid they ditched Quick Launch (don't really dig this new taskbar setup all that much) and Dream Scene.
Alright, fixed those driver issues. The first one just sorted itself out somehow; I plugged in the 5800 xm again and the driver actually installed right that time. As for that unknown device, it turned out to be the BT stack... so yeah, if anyone hits the same wall, just right-click the unknown driver, hit properties, go to details, and copy whatever is in the description to Google it...
Regarding the taskbar and Dream Scene, I found some patches online through Google and everything's working fine now, but honestly, I got used to the new taskbar so I don't even miss Launch that much anymore...😁
I set up Windows 7 last night and everything went pretty smooth, except for a couple of drivers—the mass controller and that MTP USB driver for my BlackBerry Curve. I managed to patch up the first issue using Google, but this MTP thing is driving me nuts... I can't find what I need anywhere. Anyone else run into this headache? Oh, and Device Manager is throwing an error at me too, saying there's an Unknown Device Identifier under "Other devices"... any idea what that could be?
Windows 7 is alright, I guess, though it feels kind of stupid they ditched Quick Launch (I'm really not a fan of how they handled the taskbar now) and Dream Scene...
Look, I’m not trying to get huge or anything I’m about 5'10" and weighing in at 183 lbs It's mostly just belly fat for me :-D the rest is muscle I just want to lean out a bit and tone up With that first split I used, I actually saw some pretty decent results in six months. Lately, I've been dropping weight in certain areas where I don't want to bulk up too much, keeping things steady elsewhere, and really leaning into cardio every day I'm hitting the gym. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I do 15 minutes on the treadmill before lifting. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, it's mostly just running, maybe repeating some light moves from the day before, and hitting some abs... I can't really watch my diet that closely, but hey, I'm not eating a ton of greasy junk either
Got a question here, and I don't want to clutter things up by starting a whole new thread. So, last year I was hitting this gym where the owner—this massive bodybuilding dude—set me up on this specific split Day 1: Back, triceps, and abs Day 2: Chest, biceps, and abs Day 3: Shoulders, legs, and abs Standard warmup and stretching before getting to work, obviously
Now I've moved to a different spot, and the owner here is suggesting something else entirely 1. Back and biceps (since the biceps get hit anyway when you're doing back stuff) plus abs 2. Chest and triceps (same logic applies) plus abs 3. Shoulders, legs, and abs
So now I’m asking you guys... what do you think is actually better?
