Hey, spare me the conspiracy theories. Just skip me with all that nonsense.

Thanks in advance. 👍

Ten years of being Vincent? :fajspaln:

No wonder you're such a die-hard fan, Vincent's type are known for being totally out of touch with reality.

🎉

Pilate's is educating and enlightening us, apparently confirmed more times than anyone can count.

To stay on topic (as I said before:

I wonder what Joe would say to this???

steelmaker83 said:Where and when did Senna ever claim that Jesus appeared to him in the middle of a race or at any other moment while he was behind the wheel of an F1 car?

Playboy: When you won The 1988 Japanese GP an you became a World Champion for The First time in Your Life , you claimed that in The Last Two corners Jesus Has appeared for you

Senna: I was just thanking Him for the victory. God gifted me a really hard-fought race where I managed to get victory in the penultimate race of the season as it is the dream of every driver. I was concentrating very much during praying and I started to turn into a long 180 degree corner when Jesus appeared to me. He was huge. He didn’t stand on the floor but He was floating in the air in his usual clothes, with his usual colour and with his figure surrounded by a ray of light. His whole body was rising up to the sky, he was filling the whole space. And while i Had this unbelieveble Vision i was driving a raca Car! Precisely, strongly. Moved as it has to be. Isn’t it crazy? Crazy!

Playboy: You didn’t see anything else?

Senna: Nothing else. It is undescribable. I was talking to Jesus and he appeared. He simply showed himself to me.

Definitely a case for serious psychiatric evaluation.

What would Guy say about that?

Mario Andretti, what’s your take on credits and low interest rates?

Do you want me to post that GIF again where I'm waving the rifle?

I have no idea how, but that GIF is some kind of monster. It's still alive after almost five years. 🙏🙏🙏

It is merely a matter of time.

steelmaker83 said:Oh, really? So you don't believe in Jesus?

I'm American, so I'm Catholic too.

The rest of that reply came from ruggedhawk20, but I'll just add one thing—it's precisely because I believe that I wouldn't even dream of making a claim like that.

mellowtiger83 said:If I've got this right, he used that fast car to set himself up just so Ayrton Senna could dive at him during braking?

Alain Prost <> Ayrton Senna🎉

He basically positioned himself just so Ayrton Senna could divebomb the inside line.

That kind of aggressive move on the inside works great—provided the guy ahead actually clears the racing line.
If he doesn't? Then you just look incredibly foolish... and end up wrecking yourself and the driver in front.

Traction control without any input data or wheel slip sensors...

And all based on theories from a guy who, by the way, once claimed that Jesus appeared to him during a race?

Top tier.

cosmiccyclist8 said:Everything they said is actually true. Ayrton Senna could steal setups from Alain Prost. See, Senna was a driver who lived for the engine, whereas Alain Prost was all about the chassis. I mean, obviously, Alain Prost couldn't just swipe those Honda units that had "For Senna" written on them, but Ayrton Senna could easily copy an Alain Prost car setup.

It clearly got under Alain Prost's skin so much that at the last minute he’d start tweaking things on the car... sometimes he'd mess it up, and other times he'd hit the nail on the head.

Take that famous Suzuki race in '89—he actually told his technicians to secretly remove his Gurney flap behind Ayrton Senna's back, and it worked perfectly. It made the car faster on the straights, which was vital, since Ayrton Senna couldn't touch him in the corners... honestly, the only thing he couldn't account for was a desperate charge from Ayrton Senna; otherwise, he outsmarted him technically.

This guy clearly doesn't get it.

Alain Prost > Ayrton Senna. Proven once again.

mellowtiger83 said:So, then we're looking for the torso of the squid. I happen to have some intel suggesting that you and ruggedhawk20 managed to get your hands on it.

Whoever was meant to get it, got it.
It seems pretty obvious.

Cheers, man!

crimsonhawk23 said:And why take things out of context when we're discussing the same topic? It isn't as if I didn't write:

Around that same period, Mikael Vatanen was mainly known by hardcore fans—mostly rally enthusiasts, rather than general motorsport followers. With Senna, however, people knew him who had never even watched a single Formula 1 race.

What exactly did I take out of context? 🙂

crimsonhawk23 said:I think you might have missed my point—I wasn't actually referring to his driving skill. I was just quoting a comment from YouTube, which is probably why the view count on that specific video looks the way it does. Besides, Ayrton Senna is still alive. This. His video is probably my favorite—mostly because of those three wheels.

Well, there it is—Mikael Vatanen is absolutely killing it. 🙂

The core issue is the myth-making.
And maybe the YouTube view counts.
I'm not sure.
