what a masterclass of a drive without even needing that šugav DRS 🙏
and yet there are always those "experts" trying to claim he was off track 🤦

A wounded lion is the most dangerous.

Maestro. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Man, someone needs to remind them that this is actually called "racing."
Ra-cing.

Racing.
Amanda Kelly said:What on earth happened with Kimi during qualifying?
Given how he looked during the FP-im and over in China, I was expecting him to be much higher up the grid.
It’s not like I’m rooting against 😁 (he’s still a massive threat), but I honestly think he’s going to be much more aggressive in tomorrow's race. To be blunt, he didn't handle today's qualifying by the book; something just went sideways. I can't quite put my finger on what held him back.
On top of that, he's got some tough teams ahead of him, which makes carving out a top spot even harder.

Kimi Räikkönen says his performance in qualifying for the Bahrain Grand Prix was the maximum Lotus was capable of.

....

He denied any sudden drama occurred, noting the result simply showed the car's true one-lap speed.

Buhuh, just shedding some crocodile tears here. ☕
stormybadger8 said:Seriously, did you miss how close Caterham came to slamming right into RB?🙄>

I saw two drivers—to say the least, equally careless—get in each other's way for a moment.

To say the least.
stormybadger8 said:Maybe start watching the practice sessions...🙄
Massa clocked the fastest time on hard tires during FP3, then went straight into race simulations. Vettel just set his pace on the hards and didn't even bother finishing that last lap on the medium.☕

We are Ferrari. ☕

stormybadger8 said:Lying? What are you talking about?
Vettel actually clocked that time on hard tires during FP3.☕
He didn't finish that last lap on mediums because some snail nearly rear-ended him...

Just brutal. ☕

Posrebrile.

Gold is reserved for the maestro. 🙏

Minimalist setup. 🙏 🙏 🙏
Just the usual routine. ☕
Something’s in my cockpit, right between my legs, and it’s moving. 🤣

Look, Amanda Kelly, personally I never actually bought into the idea of Vettel winning a title this season—not even back in 2011 literal.🤣
It’s honestly hilarious watching Ferrari actually have a great car and seeing you all finally agree it isn't a complete piece of junk, yet somehow I know by the end of the season everyone will be scrambling to invent excuses for why things didn't work out anyway...😁

stormybadger8 said:It's not about whether he'll drive, it's about knowing he's hitting pole number 39 today.☕
The real question is whether FA stays on the track or ends up spinning in circles like Massa did in the rain.😁

rikverc maestro P. S.🙏 🙏 🙏

P.S. Get some footage of those packed stands. 🤣

stormybadger8 said:As if a limenka and a finger are actually going to care whether I'm wrong or not🤣
Even I won't sweat it, let alone them😂

But since you're bringing up all this drama, I finally get why some people call themselves "red"🤣

A real shame.
Tire blowout -> Hamilton gets a penalty.

Makes sense. ☕
darkmarlin16 said:We’re absolutely crushing it 🙂

We are Ferrari.

A woman in the Mercedes garage—or rather, just an ass in the Mercedes garage 😁...and "Trulli train". 😁

Everything else was alright.
Well, will this be my first FP of the season? 😍
Like a newborn baby.

Interesting...
Last year, Alonso was sitting on a 9-point lead. This year? He’s trailing Vettel by 9. Funny how that works.😁

Funny how that works. Last year Ferrari was a total joke, but this year? They’re an absolute beast. 😵🤔😍

Fernando Alonso:
Last year—averaging 5th place over three finished races.
This year—averaging 1.5th place over two finished races.
That’s a 233% improvement..

Felipe Massa:
Last year—averaging 14th place over two finished races.
This year—averaging 5th place over three finished races.
A 180% improvement..

Comparing the F138 to the F2012:.
A 206.5% jump..

Samuel Ruiz4 said:Looking at the standings after those first three races in 2012 and 2013... Lotus is definitely on the upswing. At least once Romain starts driving like he actually knows what he's doing...
In Bahrain, if you ask me, there’s really only one question worth asking: Alonso or Kimi?

1 Lewis Hamilton 45
2 Jenson Button 43
3 Fernando Alonso 37
4 Mark Webber 36
5 Sebastian Vettel 28

1 McLaren-Mercedes 88
2 Red Bull-Renault 64
3 Ferrari 37
4 Sauber-Ferrari 31
5 Mercedes 26

2013

1 Sebastian Vettel 52
2 Kimi Räikkönen 49
3 Fernando Alonso 43
4 Lewis Hamilton 40
5 Felipe Massa 30

1 Red Bull-Renault 78
2 Ferrari 73
3 Lotus-Renault 60
4 Mercedes 52
5 McLaren-Mercedes 14

Felipe. 😍
The biggest improvement compared to last season. 😍
GO FELIPE GO!👋
swifttiger75 said:It’s obvious they played themselves a little, and now they're finally dealing with the fallout of all that manufactured drama. To me, it looks like pure improvisation after fans started losing their minds once the reality of those super softs' durability came to light.
Honestly, finding any kind of balance in this mess of rules—between KERS, tires, DRS, and whatever other nonsense they throw at us next—is going to be an uphill battle. 🙂

Do you really think one longer stint is going to make any meaningful difference?
Assuming they go with the OPPP strategy...
