Dealing with hemorrhoids – any advice? in Health ·
velvetharbor10 said:I’m speaking from my own experience here—try this: strip down to the waist, hop into an empty bathtub, and set the showerhead to quite warm water. Take the nozzle off the hose, crouch down in the tub, and aim a strong stream of water directly at the anal area. Massage the area with the water flow, and maybe occasionally switch to slightly cooler water... just keep massaging the area for about 10 minutes like that. If you do this at least twice a day, I guarantee the pooled blood will recede from the hemorrhoids and the inflammation—along with the pain—will vanish.

Based on your own experience, did you figure this out on your own, or did someone suggest it to you?

Do they actually recede, or does the inflammation just die down?

If they do recede, how many days does that usually take?
How long did you have to do this before you actually noticed an improvement?

How much do they shrink—is it a total thing, or just a little, maybe halfway?

And what about internal hemorrhoids?
Do you have any advice for dealing with the internal ones?

I can't see a doctor right now since I'm traveling for another year and just don't have the budget for private specialists. It feels like I'm dying here—does anyone know what else I can try???

Maybe this might help you out

Walking involves more physical strain, which isn't great for hemorrhoids, though apparently, that wasn't what caused them to swell up. Diet is also a huge factor—definitely something to watch. But here’s the real kicker—with a squatty potty, you aren't spending ages straining or sitting there, since you can't really stay in that position forever anyway, so nothing gets pushed out... That seems to be the main reason. Sitting on the toilet for too long and straining like that just isn't good for you...

His hemorrhoids actually came back after using the toilet for a few months, though it wasn't an immediate thing.

So, it's not really about whether they were protruding or not—he's adamant that they had completely receded.

The human body is actually quite capable of returning to its "original state"—it just needs the right conditions to make that happen.

So, I was talking to this guy who just got back from a three-month trek through South America—he basically lived off the land and skipped the traditional restroom entirely, opting for those outdoor "nature calls" instead—and he claims his hemorrhoids completely cleared up. He mentioned he used to deal with some minor issues, just a few small bumps here and there, nothing major to worry about

But honestly, once he got back home and started using a regular toilet again, they popped right back up

Could it be because of the diet? Maybe all that light, mushy food he was eating while traveling made a difference?

Has anyone actually tried this—like, does it actually work?

And how long are we talking for the treatment?

Does it actually clear everything up completely, or is it just going to take down the current swelling?
If things flare up again later, do I just start over from scratch?

Honestly, it feels like things couldn't possibly get any worse than they are right now.
So, does anyone have any real-world experience with this stuff???

How long is it safe to rely on flaxseed for better or easier digestion?

And what's the best way to use flaxseed oil?
What should I mix it with?

As for the actual seeds—how do you use those?
Do they need to be ground up (?) and then what?

Is there anything else out there (natural) besides flax that helps soften things up or keeps things regular?

You just take the fat and dice it into small cubes. Throw them on the heat and let them slowly render down. Once it starts melting, toss in about a third of a pound of shredded carrots and stir it occasionally until all that fat has liquefied. You aren't looking to fry the carrots until they're dark or crispy; you just want them lightly sautéed in the fat. Then, just strain it out and you're done. There isn't really a strict rule on how often to apply it—maybe just once in the morning and once at night?
It definitely won't hurt to try....

Good luck!

Has anyone actually tried this? Like, does it actually work?

And does it actually help with the pain, bleeding, or inflammation? Does it actually get hemorrhoids to clear up?
