Top 3 things about NYC that are just straight-up garbage:
1. massive boobs everywhere. 2. the homeless population—they just crash wherever they want, leaving behind these perfectly neat little piles of blankets and pillows when they wander off "home." 3. ambulances and cops driving like absolute maniacs with their sirens blaring at all hours.
Total disaster. Absolute catastrophe. The sound system was complete garbage—I could barely hear a thing. I had to struggle through every single song just to figure out what they were playing, thanks to both the atrocious acoustics and the mediocre performances. When I heard that butchered version of 'Hybrid Moments,' I honestly lost my mind 🙂 I knew it wouldn't be great, but this? This was a whole different level of bad 🙏 🙏 🙏
We managed to skip the opening act entirely. Honestly, if I’d been forced to sit through that local garage band too, I probably would've ended up in a police report by the end of the night.
1. Some girl took my diploma to make a poster (since I had to head home early from the conference), and she only just brought it back to me today—all wrinkled, crumpled, and slightly filthy.
There isn't a single disgusted emoji in existence that can capture how I feel about this.
So my ex basically swiped a bunch of my Alan Ford comics 🙂 I let him borrow them—they were basically sitting in his place for ages—but then we broke up, and when he finally handed them back, a good chunk was just... gone. He "found" a few and gave those back, but I’m positive he pocketed at least ten of them 🙂 🙂
The absolute #1 reason why I wasn't there🙂 yesterday's news:
1. A close friend of mine was in Nashville watching Goran Tanevski perform "Stoj" with a Mizara😲—and obviously, it was 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏. To top it off, they ended up grabbing drinks at his pub right after the show. 😍
1. Won best poster at the conference 😎 my first poster, ever. There were about 200 entries from all over the world—fancy universities and research institutes everywhere. Prize: cash and a certificate. Not bad at all. 😍 It’s going straight on my wall... and probably on the bar, too. 😬
d.zelig said:Actually, The bullies have this early EP—join the Satan's army—but sadly it’s impossible to find online.
I actually grabbed that last week, plus a few other albums, but I haven't had a chance to listen yet because I was out of town. I'll upload 🙂 tomorrow. A little late to the party, but here it is from a few days ago:
Anyone know where I can grab some? Specifically the ones you just slip onto your sneakers—not the kind where you have to take your shoes off first. Trying to get through high school here without wasting half my life just tying laces every single time. 😍
