I was watching a solid episode of DS9 yesterday.

Among other things, there is a plot point where three Kardashian women arrive at the station, and one of them gets into a verbal sparring match—words rather than actions, though her behavior reflects it too—with the chief engineer (O'Brien).
Throughout the segment, they are just bickering—he's somewhat oblivious and occasionally swears, while she mostly just needles him.
Toward the end of the episode, she begins talking to him about having children together.🙂
He isn't interested.
It's a cultural difference—for Kardashians, verbal sparring is often a sign of attraction...
In the end, though, they hit it off; she ends up apologizing.🤣

Everyone has their silly moments—it's part of being human—but there is usually some underlying context involved.
If I don't talk to someone, then typically, I don't say much about them either.

Describing certain events is perfectly fine.
That doesn't mean you actually have to engage with the person 🤷

And it's okay to state clearly that you disagree with someone.
Ultimately, that kind of stance reflects everyone involved in the situation.
