..I don't have any firsthand experience, but I know someone who does. As for the hospital, I'm not entirely sure, but my guess is you'll need a parent on hand. Regarding private clinics, they're available in just about every major US city—if you're looking for outpatient services, you've got plenty of options. Good luck.
Harold Stewart3 said:Take a breath, okay? It’ll be fine... "tumors" is just a broad term for any growth, so it doesn't always mean something scary. My daughter-in-law dealt with nonstop bleeding because of uterine polyps; she couldn't stop the flow for months until they finally removed them. Now she's perfectly fine. Don't panic prematurely. Just go see a gynecologist—your health matters way more than missing a single day at college. 😉
..thanks 🙂, finally. The day after I took those pills, the bleeding actually stopped. Of course, my "old friends," the yeast infections, made their grand return, but I'm learning how to deal with them. Naturally, I'm heading in for an exam once this madness around campus settles down a bit.
I’m seriously on the verge of a nervous breakdown 😢. I took this Ergotermin and absolutely nothing happened—if anything, I feel worse. The bleeding hasn't slowed down at all; in fact, it's gotten more intense, and now I'm passing these massive clots. Does anyone actually know what's going on? My OB-GYN is only seeing patients in the mornings this week, and between my college classes and work, I can't make an appointment for the life of me. I am going to lose my mind by next week. I did a little Googling, and now I'm reading horror stories about tumors and the absolute worst-case scenarios. Please, has anyone dealt with something similar? Help me out.
So, I called my OBGYN today regarding that issue I posted about earlier. His advice? Apparently, I should just pick up some Ergonermin, take it, and then check back in. Because clearly, that’s a simple fix, right? Of course, being me, I couldn't just sit there—I had to look it up. Turns out, this stuff is typically prescribed to women postpartum or after a miscarriage. Since I haven't exactly gone through either of those, why on earth would he suggest this for me? Has anyone else here actually tried this? Any experiences to share?
..I’m dealing with something similar, except my cycle has gone completely haywire. For the last two months, everything starts hitting me every 15 to 20 days and lasts about a week, followed by this endless, brownish spotting that just won't quit. Does anyone actually know what this could be? Please, if you have any insight, speak up—I’m starting to panic here. I know, I know, I need to see a gynecologist, but can I please just wait until this settles down first?
I’ve been dealing with almost identical issues for years now..
I’ve seen plenty of doctors, and they all point back to the same thing—either anemia or blood sugar spikes (whatever the medical term is). I don't think you have anything serious to worry about, but honestly, why take the chance? Just go see a doctor; it doesn't mean you have the same thing, does it?
..I’ve seen both female and male doctors... though my experience with the men has been significantly better, and we all know why..
When I saw the woman, she shoved her hand in 🙂 with such zero empathy that it actually made me feel faint on the exam table..
I told her right then: "Don't expect to see me ever again." I'm not trying to generalize, but after an experience like that, I'll stick to male doctors—and honestly, I couldn't be happier with my current one..
Pretty much every outpatient clinic has an oncologist on staff now, usually charging somewhere between $150 and $83. I actually pay a premium at one of the better ones $67..
