How do I become a music critic? in Music ·
Jerry Rogers2 said:Plus, critics can be total bullies, using their platform just to tear someone down. 🤷

But they also know how to suck up to people... then suddenly everyone's acting like they're some kind of saint. 😁

www.rollingstones.com - you can order them right through the site.. 👍

Not sure if this is new news...

Even though Helena Bonham Carter—formerly of The Rolling Stones—and the rock musician Ivan Cinotti have both been in the industry for years as trained musicians, they finally crossed paths this summer during their debut at the 11th Savannah Song Festival. Helena’s performance of her original track “two shadows,” which earned her the Best New Artist award, blew Cinotti away so much that he immediately asked to collaborate. Their duet, “Sanja san jutros,” quickly climbed the charts to become a radio hit.

Great track. 👍

That’s the million-dollar question right there. 🤷 I couldn't find anything... though I’m sure there are people out there with a few Rolling Stones music videos tucked away in their personal collections. If nothing else, at least "Wild Horses." Just a few months ago, I was watching them on YouTube like it was nothing, and then—poof—they just vanished. I have no clue if YouTube nuked them for copyright issues or if the uploader decided to pull them down themselves. It's a damn shame.

I finally found it—and man, it hits the spot. I’m not even going to try to break it down yet because I’m still reeling from the first listen... but wow. It just completely grabbed me from the very first note. Seriously. 👍

Helena Bastić - Two Shadows

She isn't just working on new material—she’s already started collecting awards...

Helen Bastić, who performed her original song "two shadows" on a stage in Florida, was just named best newcomer.

I just stumbled upon this article in the local news... Going from funky jazz to torch songs... I'm genuinely curious about this shift...

And regarding the music videos—"your love" and "disco" were on YouTube just six months ago. It's a shame they were taken down...

Morning Post People are saying something else entirely... who can you actually trust at this point? Did seriously nobody attend the concert to give us a firsthand account? (Unbelievable—and it was even free!) But knowing how the local news outlets operate lately, their report will probably claim someone just got ahead of themselves and failed to check The Rolling Stones' current lineup. I really hope I’m wrong on this one.

The Rolling Stones are making a comeback to the stage, focusing on original songwriting and getting back into the studio. If you don't believe me, just come hear them live at Club Purgeraj on March 19th. These jazzy, pop, and funk gurus are going to put on an incredible show, debuting some fresh tracks while revisiting the old hits like "your love" or "lead me into the disco."

The creative engine and driving force behind the band is guitarist and songwriter Jexa (Zoran Jaeger), who's almost always joined by Lady Miss Sooper (Helena Bastić). The show kicks off at 10 PM, and entry is free.

Both "The Rolling Stones go Jazzy Live" and "chronological" were released on the 2fonkee label—which, by the way, has since shut down. If I remember correctly, some of their earlier stuff was actually recorded in Amsterdam and then mastered and released right here in Washington, D.C., though I can't say for certain. And, of course, there was that collaboration between Jexa and the Saskia Laroo band.

there are a few secondhand shops out there...
here are some options...

There’s also one right around the corner from Freebird, but I can't remember the name...

Freebird is your best bet, then maybe Roxy (though the guy there really gets on my nerves), or Karma...
I’ve personally bought and sold plenty of CDs and vinyl at Karma...

Hope this helps everyone out...👍

I'd go with what was listed above. That bird shop gives the best deals on collections... and honestly, I haven't had great experiences with Roxy either.
