Jonsi, that's an excellent choice you made there.
Personally, if I were facing my final moments, I think I'd want Mad World Gary Jules playing in the background. That closing scene from Donnie Darko is just so much more impactful specifically because of that track. It’s relaxing. Sort of like... It's The end of The World and i Feel fin.

Hmm, yeah... I was honestly starting to lose hope there before I finally came up with a topic for this forum. Goodness me...
I suppose you're one of those people who clings to life with everything they've got. It seems to me that most people take death far too seriously.
It’s really just a transition from one state to another, isn't it? I was simply curious about what kind of music you'd want playing in the background while you're dying. I mean a natural death, of course. None of that business with tumors or diseases.

What are those songs and albums you’d want playing in the background if you were about to die? I mean, if you could pick the perfect soundtrack to make that final moment a little more beautiful—not that I'm talking about suicide or anything, obviously 🙂

I don't know, I feel like 90s pop actually had some sort of charm left. It wasn't this aggressive, constant bombardment that everything seems to be nowadays.

Man, the Backstreet Boys, the nineties... I really miss all of that. Just that pure, cheesy bubblegum pop from the tail end of the decade... Spice Girls, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, Take That, 98 Degrees, NSYNC... Honestly, if it weren't for the internet, I probably wouldn't even know the Backstreet Boys were still putting out albums. They released one back in 2007, I think. I haven't actually listened to any of their tracks lately; as far as I can recall, their last real hit was Incomplete.

How did you all get started?

Early childhood: mostly just domestic pop hits—think Doris Day, Vanna, Danijela, and those catchy tracks from the Dora festivals 😁. Then 2001 hit, which was a massive turning point, lol: I was all about Britney Spears, Shakira, J.HO, and so on, right up until 2006. Basically, if it was climbing the US charts, I was listening to it. Around 2006, I shifted toward rock, then eventually moved into Metal (though, to be fair, what I was actually listening to wasn't even that far off from Britney Spears & Co.). That Metal phase and similar genres stayed relevant for me until late 2007. Nowadays? I listen to pretty much EVERYTHING—with the exception of total garbage that I don't even consider actual music, like country, rave, techno, house, dance, black metal, or death metal. That would be it.
