Harold Lopez31 said:You really need to let this run for several hours if you want any meaningful data, because it takes about twenty minutes just for the temperatures to stabilize. You should be monitoring the core temp—or better yet, use something like RightMark CPU Clock Utility to get an actual reading.

I went ahead and checked the CPU clock... under a full 100% load, the processor temperature is sitting at approximately 52.5C.

Looking at those idle temperatures, I honestly believe there is still some more breathing room left in this setup...

The system hasn't even crashed after... well, 22 minutes of testing. You should try pushing it further, though I haven't quite figured out where the temperature readout is located within the Orthofix interface myself.

So, I have my Intel Core 2 Quad running at 3275.33 MHz now (218.35 x 15.0), and according to the core temp readings, here is what we are looking at: Core #0= 37c
Core #1 =36-37 C

Raymond Hernandez14 said:To be perfectly honest, that window of yours is just too small... or rather, the actual transparent section is far too limited, which means any neon lighting you install won't really carry much weight visually...
You could easily just pick up an aftermarket side panel since they aren't exactly breaking the bank... I mean, I spent a whole day looking at options over at Apple$12... it’s honestly peanuts!!!!
And those clear panels are basically available right after the launch... which would significantly boost the visibility of the neon itself and heighten the overall aesthetic effect😉

Believe me, it isn't... because when you look at the actual photo, the setup is much larger and more impressive than you think, especially since that window takes up nearly half the entire side panel

Raymond Hernandez14 said:The case seems fine enough, I think I spotted something similar over at Apple once, though I don't recall seeing a clear side panel or any Plex on it.
Where exactly are you planning to mount that neon light? Take a few photos so we can actually see what you're talking about.

It’s there... here are the shots.

What’s the consensus on this case?

I actually already own this thing, so I was weighing the idea of slapping a blue neon strip on the side just to see how it looks.

Adam Garcia69 said:What’s the actual ceiling for overclocking an Intel Core i5-12400 2.2 GHz processor?

I happened to stumble upon this on an American forum:
I'm currently making a system for a friend and I picked up a Dell Inspiron and an Intel Core i5 for him. I would like to hit a stable 3.2GHz in Vista and was wondering what clocks you guys got with what voltages just for a starting point for me. I am going to start tweaking it soon, but it would be nice to have an idea of where I should be. Idle/load temps would be fantastic as well.

EDIT:

For some reason, whenever I attempt to set 320 * 10 to reach 3.2GHz, the system insists it is running at 351*10 @ 3.51GHz according to both Core Temp and the Vista system properties, and it triggers a blue screen every single time I try to run Orthos, regardless of how much voltage I throw at it. I just switched over to 266*11, which is reporting correctly in Core Temp and Vista, and it’s actually handling Orthos perfectly fine at the moment at 1.4v—though I haven't dared to drop it lower yet since that was my baseline. Does anyone have any insight here? It's using a P5K motherboard, by the way.

The voltage is currently sitting at 7.5, though it’s capable of hitting up to 10

I have an unresolved issue here😕
Why is it that when I attempt to overclock my AMD Athlon 2100+ @ 1.76 GHz up to 1.90 GHz, the system suddenly identifies it as an Athlon XP 2400+, and even though I managed to push it further to 2.20 GHz, upon the subsequent reboot🙏 🤷 😲
everything just went completely sideways
