Hey! I wanted to get back to you regarding your mom and her breast reconstruction surgery. I’m actually scheduled for my own procedure on April 28th, so once I’m back home and feeling up to it, I’ll definitely reach out and let you know how everything went and what my experience was like. Honestly, from everything I’ve researched and heard, Dr. Stanec is absolutely incredible. My only issue is that I just can't swing his private fees right now, and if I try to go through my insurance, I'd be stuck waiting at least another month. I really don't want to wait that long—I've already been out on medical leave for way too much time already!
Thanks so much for the help! Honestly, you feel so lost when you first start navigating all these doctor appointments. Does anyone happen to know what private specialists usually charge for these services—specifically for the removal and immediate reconstruction?
Hey everyone, I wanted to reach out because I recently got some pretty heavy news—I’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer. After sitting down with my doctors to talk through the next steps, I've decided to go ahead with a mastectomy along with reconstruction. However, I just found out that they’re planning to use tissue from my back for the procedure, and they mentioned it might leave me with some permanent physical limitations on that side of my body. Honestly, that part really spooked me! I would love to hear from anyone who has gone through something similar. Personally, I’m leaning more towards using silicone implants or something similar instead. Any advice or personal stories you could share would mean the world to me!

Tomorrow is going to be an absolute blast of a race! Sadly, I'll just be catching the replay on NBC.😠
