I actually went ahead and double-checked the rates on the USPS website before heading out just to be absolutely sure, and they told me straight up that you can't send an insured package if the value is under $333—that it's just not an option. It felt like it was four against one, though; they were all saying the exact same thing, almost like they had rehearsed it. Now I’m just stuck... I really don't know what to do next. 😢

Maybe try not calling it an insured package? Just list it as a standard parcel, and then on the shipping label itself, you should be able to specify the declared value you want to protect.

Has anyone here dealt with a situation where you sent a package via certified mail, but it feels like it’s taking forever to actually arrive? I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced a two-day delay or more. I dropped mine off at my local neighborhood Post Office, but the clerk working there seems to have a bit of a personal grievance with me, which makes the whole thing feel even more uncertain. 🙂 I’ve been having my doubts about that too—is it actually possible that's why my packages are taking so long to arrive?
After that initial headache, I tried sending them out via a different carrier, and everything actually arrived within a day or two. It was a much smoother process, though I did hear from some of my girls that those first few packages looked like they had been tampered with or opened before they reached their destination.
Honestly, it feels pretty terrible. I feel like I’m being painted as completely unprofessional, when in reality, I have absolutely zero control over these situations. It’s like being blamed for the weather; you can prepare all you want, but if a storm hits, people still look at you like you caused it.
Alright, I went ahead and updated my post, but honestly... I'm still feeling a bit conflicted about it.

The delivery window was only supposed to be four days, so I’m honestly not sure why things have been dragging on this long for you. You should have the confirmation email sitting in your inbox right now—just give them a call and see what the hold-up is. If they still can't give you a straight answer, your best bet is to just file a formal dispute and let the bank handle it from there.🙂

I'm looking to send something to North Mexico that weighs less than half a pound, so it should go out as a standard small bubble mailer. According to the USPS calculator, the total cost including any applicable taxes comes out to $22, which seems perfectly reasonable.

My main hesitation is the recipient. I’m worried they might get hit with unexpected customs fees or some other random charge upon delivery. If that happens, I’d honestly feel terrible about it. 😠

Has anyone here dealt with this before?

By the way, I wouldn't consider sending it via a Greyhound bus—that feels like playing the lottery. 😂

Just tuck a note inside, like a birthday wish or something similar; that usually helps prevent them from flagging it for customs. 🙂

The parcel arrived from overseas in a 30x30 box, marked as a gift so it wouldn't get flagged by Customs. I'm going to check on all the other details today, but honestly, I doubt I'll pull the trigger if I have to pay $60 just for the shipping and handling fees—that alone is almost as much as the item itself! ☕🤷

I’m a little lost here too... Are you talking about $480 or $180? Could you clarify what you mean exactly?
Why would you be paying $160? You can't really do cash-on-delivery for international shipments, right? Can you walk me through how that works?😕
Complaint against the Zebra Technologies moderator in Feedback & Suggestions ·
I’m definitely on board with this. I was just browsing through that "other subforums" thread, and honestly, it felt pretty insulting. In my opinion, having Tilla acting as a moderator is a massive, unfortunate misstep for the community here.👎
