Recovering from mono: How long does it take?

So, I'm wondering—is it smart to start with light walking or maybe a jog right now, or should I hold off another month or two? Honestly, I'm losing my mind here; I just want to get my stamina back, but I don't want to overdo it. This thing was brutal—my liver enzymes were through the roof while I was hospitalized, hitting over 1000—specifically AST and ALT peaked around 1440 at one point. As for alcohol, I don't drink, so no issues there, but I'd love to hear from others about when you felt okay starting to exercise again.

there were a few days in the hospital where I didn't even know who I was—literally missing chunks of time.
anyway, a couple days after getting out, I wasn't doing anything special—just went to a great concert with friends and grabbed a beer.
been drinking almost every day since.
I mean, I was drinking way before the mono hit anyway.
it's been 16 years since then... and I'm still kicking.
only thing is, I never actually bothered checking my liver...---...let it handle itself, who cares.
you only live once... plus, the liver usually fixes itself if you just leave it alone... so—cheers, people.
