Anyone still running Windows 7? in Software ·
Nathan Ramos62 said:Good afternoon, everyone. I’m running into a bit of a headache while trying to get Win7 installed on my machine.
The whole process seems fine at first—I pick my language, format the partition, and select where I want the new OS to live—but then the computer just decides to reboot itself out of nowhere.
To be more specific, everything looks normal during the Copying Windows Files stage, but as soon as it hits the "expanding windows files" part, it hangs at 0% and then triggers an automatic restart.
If anyone has any inkling as to what might be causing this glitch, I would be incredibly grateful for the help.
Thanks in advance!

Well, I actually ran into a very similar situation myself once. I made the decision to go with the 64-bit version of Windows, and let me tell you, the whole thing was a total disaster from start to finish.🤷

It’s almost funny, really—the moderator completely failed to notice that there are dozens of authorized left-wing trolls lurking in the shadows, whose entire existence seems dedicated to sabotaging discussions and flagging right-leaning posters just so they can get them banned from the forums.

🤦

This whole situation is genuinely unhinged.
Trojan in Software ·
Morgan Watson4 said:I probably have a Trojan on my computer and not a single antivirus is picking it up. What is the best free software out there that can actually sniff out Trojans?

Look, whenever I find myself in a situation where something suspicious has crawled its way into my system, my go-to move is simply to wipe the drive and format everything... Honestly, I’d highly suggest you take that same route because it’s the only way to be absolutely, 100% certain that the Trojan is dead and gone for good👍.
The only real headache with that approach is that you lose every single file sitting on that hard drive. To get around that, I usually set up two separate partitions: I keep all my precious photos and essential programs on one partition so they stay safe and untouched while I clean the other one
