So, seriously—is nobody actually interested in this?

First off, I know there's already a thread about this on Reddit, but mods—please don't nuking this one. It’s not strictly "alternative" stuff, and honestly, I’m looking for some actual critical takes beyond what you get over there... 🙂

So, just curious what you guys think of this method—purely for info. If we ignore all the typical sketchy ads and wild claims on their website, there might be a grain of truth in here somewhere. Obviously, saying it permanently fixes everything or cures every disease is total nonsense, but could it maybe help someone like me dealing with circulation issues in my brain caused by cervical spine problems? 🤷

Most people who have actually tried it seem to swear by it. Is it just a massive placebo effect, or are we looking at the future?

darkowl72 said:they work, I guess... they're just weaklings... 5W and 2.5W per channel? That's basically just a slightly better smartphone speaker... 😁

grab the Logitech Z313 if you actually want to hear music—2x 25W is plenty to practically pressurize a room... those pathetic ones will just have to be cranked to the max just to hear anything, and you'll blow them out before you know it...

You know what, they're for my PC—gaming mostly, some music here and there—so volume isn't even the main thing, it's the quality... And look, I'm no audiophile, so I don't see the point in dropping $147 on those; I'm on a budget. Maybe this, people seem to rave about 🤷 them. If the sound quality is the same, who cares if they're quieter, right? 🙂 Plus, I've no idea if the integrated audio on my motherboard could even handle the Logitech Z313...

Hmm... Yeah. I'm not sure what else to say... Those Logitech ones are pretty small, only 14W, but hey—for that price, maybe they're worth it? It's not like I need them to be blowing the roof off right now. I care more about decent sound quality and making sure they don't just buzz constantly. I've been using some cheap garbage smartbox with barely any wattage until now, so honestly, anything would be an upgrade 🤣

Oh, and I don't have a dedicated sound card or anything—just the standard one built into my motherboard—so who knows how much power it can actually handle...

hey,
sorry for bumping this, but I'm hunting for some desktop speakers—looking to spend maybe 300 bucks $133 tops. I was originally eyeing those Logitech Z623 mentioned at the start of the thread, but it looks like they're long gone. Checked a few stores around town and can't find anything quite like them... Anyone got a lead? Ideally looking for another Logitech setup, maybe something with a wood enclosure? Thanks 🙂
