Lesson learned: don't bother with Cash on Delivery if you have even a tiny doubt about the seller—though, let's be real, verifying people is nearly impossible. He could've just stuffed a rock in the box and I would've still handed over my cash. $100 There's zero recourse for me here; I'm left with absolutely nothing to protect myself.

I've got a question... I struck a deal with someone to buy a phone via Cash on Delivery. The package arrived, I paid the agreed amount ($110 including shipping), but when I opened it, there was no phone—just some total junk he shoved in there to scam me. The guy is ghosting me now, so what can I actually do? Is there any way to get my money back!?
