Thanks a million, sweetie! 😁
You totally calmed me down 😉
Something's wrong with my stomach in Health ·
Hey there... so, here's the deal:
I’ve noticed something lately that's starting to bug me... When I blow all the air out of my lungs—like, a super deep exhale until my stomach is totally flat—and then start breathing back in slowly, things look a little wonky...
One side stays pretty flat while the other side kind of bulges out... Or maybe it's the other way around, I can't quite tell. It’s not like a massive ten-inch gap or anything, but there’s definitely a visible difference of maybe an inch or two. It seems to happen right around my belly button or just a bit lower down.
My first thought was maybe a hernia, but I don't know if that makes sense. There isn't any actual lump popping out, and it doesn't hurt at all—not even when I'm lifting stuff or if I cough. When my stomach is just relaxed and normal, everything looks perfectly fine. The only thing is, could this be a hernia just starting to develop?🤷
It just feels so weird.
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Honestly, I'm starting to get a little bit worked up about it.
Best protein powders for muscle gain? in Hobbies & Leisure ·
goldenfox24 said:Quick question—are egg whites better, or should I just grab some protein powder at the gym?

It really depends on what you're trying to do. If we're talking about that post-workout window, don't even bother with egg whites; you definitely want to go with a whey protein for that. During the rest of the day, though, whole eggs are probably your best bet since whey hits your system way too fast, and you don't want that extra energy just turning into fat. Also, please, for the love of everything, do NOT drink raw eggs. Your body won't absorb the protein nearly as well, plus you're basically playing Russian roulette with salmonella or bird flu. Just cook up a batch of 5 or 6 eggs—eat two or three whole ones and just use the whites for the rest.

Wait, so how does 133 x 6 equal 2000? That math isn't looking too great to me... ;D

Also, could you walk me through what latency actually is?

Haha... 😁
I mean, look at my own post right here... It says I downloaded it and shows all my results, but honestly? I'm a little confused by the whole thing 😁

Nobody seems to give a decent, plain-English explanation of what latency actually is. 😁
5. Got the software installed and running, and here are my CPU results...
Clock speed - 798 Multiplier
Multiplier- fluctuates between 6.0 and 15.0
Bus speed- 133.0 MHz
Rated FSB 532.0 MHz

Also, could someone please break down what my FSB and multiplier actually mean for me?
And seriously, what is latency?

5.Just downloaded CPU-Z. It’s such a handy little tool for checking everything under the hood. Simple, clean, and gets the job done without any fuss.
Intel is a brand.

I took a look over there, but honestly, I couldn't find what I was actually hunting for. Just wasn't there.
Nick hasn't really given a good explanation of what latency actually is. 😁
Just downloaded it and fired it up... waiting on those CPU results now!
Clock speed - 798 Multiplier
The multiplier ranges anywhere from 6.0 all the way up to 15.0.
Bus speed is sitting at 133.0 MHz.
Clock speed - 798 Multiplier. Rated FSB 532.0 MHz.

4.Yeah, or maybe it's the VRAM on the graphics card
5.CPU-Z
6.Not all motherboards support overclocking. If you have an Intel board, try hitting Ctrl+F1 in the BIOS. Check which specific model you've got and Google it, or just flip through the motherboard manual

Alright, thanks! I think I mostly get it now, but: 😁
3.Could you explain that latency thing a bit more? I get that it's basically the time between requesting a byte and actually receiving it... plus some other stuff...
What do those numbers actually mean when you guys are talking about them?
5. Now, this part really has me stumped... 😁
6.Is that Intel thing referring to the BIOS?
I'm running Phoenix v1.40.... I tried the Ctrl + F1 trick but nothing happened...

Hey guys, I’ve got a few newbie questions here, please help a brother out: 😁
Basically, I’ve been doing a little digging online and ended up on some pretty empty pages, so I’m trying to wrap my head around the basics:
1. For example, if it says 166MHz x 2
Is 166 the FBI and 2 the multiplier? Is that how it works?
2. What even is this "bus" thing anyway?
3. And what's the deal with latencies?
4. When people talk about overclocking memory, they're talking about RAM, right?
5. So, I’ve got an Intel Core Duo T2450 2.00 running in my machine... how can I figure out what my multiplier and FBI actually are?
6. I poked around my BIOS, but I couldn't find any settings to tweak the FBI at all... is there some secret key combo or something I'm missing? 😁

Thanks in advance!
