Yeah, I heard the exact same thing. The branch manager told me straight up they aren't actually going to wipe the overdraft fees—they just have to fix the technical error first, then everything should go back to normal.

Look, I went down to JPMorgan Chase today to deal with this mess. Everything was working perfectly fine yesterday, and I had my overdraft limit set through May 31st. That’s what my contract says! They can't just pull that feature out from under me overnight just because they feel like it. And get this—they told me it's some "technical glitch." Apparently, they were running some updates and all the student overdraft protections just vanished due to a system error. The lady at the branch told me straight up that once they fix the bug, they'll restore everything. I even went up the ladder and talked to the department manager about it.

Unbelievable. I was at Chase today and they pull this crap on me. Apparently, some "technical glitch" wiped out all my overdraft limits. Just gone. They claimed they’re working on fixing the error and promised everything would be back to normal soon
