I’m currently sitting on 4 GB, though I am considering bumping that up to 8 GB for the time being.
I am uncertain if this question has already been posed, but I find myself wondering whether transitioning to Windows 7 64-bit is actually a worthwhile endeavor, or if staying with the 32-bit version remains the more pragmatic choice.
I find myself quite satisfied with the 7 Home Premium 32-bit experience. It handles my software without the hiccups I endured on Windows Vista, and frankly, the system feels significantly more responsive than any version of Vista ever did.
So, does it actually run flawlessly? I installed it on my laptop and everything functioned quite well for about a week. However, Vista is equally problematic on my laptop, and on my desktop, I was plagued by the occasional Blue Screen of Death for reasons I can't quite pinpoint. I find myself feeling somewhat apprehensive about Windows 7, even if its performance is objectively superior to Vista.
I find myself wondering whether it is actually worth the trouble of installing the Windows 7 RC, or if I should simply wait for the final release to arrive; at the moment, I am still running Windows XP.
I have a subscription to Napster Pro if you haven't already grabbed it from the web... Just let me know and I can send it over via MSN or Google Messenger. Catch you later.
