1 GB is basically the bare minimum you're looking at... honestly, just give it a shot. I’ve got a buddy who runs them on just 1 GB of RAM and he says they work just fine for him...

I honestly can't wrap my head around why you’d even want to use that sound volume hotkey

Just head over to the Microsoft website and grab the Windows 7 RC download... it’s totally free to get your hands on
Apparently, if you're still stuck running one of those beta versions, Microsoft says you really ought to upgrade to the RC or just jump straight into another version of Windows 7 by next month... so yeah, might as well get ahead of it

LOL Nicholas Collins68. We’re basically fighting the exact same revolution here, except my setup is running on a 17" monitor while yours is a bit beefier at 19"

I've got 1280x800 running on my primary monitor and then 1280x1024 going on the second one

Just hop into Mozilla, go to Tools, then Options, hit Content, and you can tweak the font size right there...

Just right-click on your desktop, hit personalize, then head down to the display settings on the bottom left and you can set some custom text there

Well, I guess it really just depends on which version of 7 you’re planning to run... if you're sticking with the 32-bit version, you'll probably see it taking anywhere from 1 to 3GB, but since I'm running the 64-bit version myself, you're looking at a minimum of 3GB, though honestly, if you want things to actually run smooth, I'd definitely suggest having at least 4GB to play with...
