Just get rid of the watermark

or just grab this little script here:

And honestly, it's none of your business... I downloaded that garbage and it was useless, at least not for the versions I'm running. I've gone through three of them now... I think this latest one is the RTM build, but everything started lagging on me the second I began installing my software, and then the whole system just locked up. Maybe I'm just having bad luck and caught a buggy release, but I highly doubt it's stable enough yet. I think I'll hold off for a bit longer. 😢(

It’s like how phones used to exist that couldn't even send texts—technology evolves. As for speed, I actually find XP SP3 to be faster, and quite noticeably so. I have both running on separate hard drives, so the difference is easy to feel... Cheers.

It’s not a given that XP is faster... I’ve been using it for a long time, and about eight months ago, I spent a few months testing Windows 7. It definitely feels snappier, but it's buggy... just a bit too much for my taste.🙂

If anyone has an idea or some advice, please let me know. Cheers, and let's hope the Yankees pull off a win tonight!

I finally ditched that piece of junk. I honestly thought they had fixed some of the issues, but it’s still just a massive pile of garbage from the office. For now, Windows XP is still holding up better in terms of stability. I'll admit, Windows 7 feels a lot faster and has way more great features, but it's just not quite there yet... it's still struggling with too many bugs for my liking.

Can someone please just drop a link to a decent watermark remover? I need something that actually works for RTM. I’ve been wasting my time scouring the web for the last half hour, and honestly, every single one I’ve stumbled upon is a total dud.

Quick question for the Windows 7 enthusiasts out there... I had 7 installed about 6 or 8 months ago. Everything went smoothly—installed it, cleared out the watermark and all that other junk, and it worked perfectly fine for a few months. Then, out of nowhere, it started counting down the days until some deadline. It gave me a message saying I should switch to a different version of Windows 7 because this one was about to expire. I was totally confused since I’d already bypassed the Evaluation copy nonsense. Well, I waited until the clock finally ran out. The next day (right after it expired), the machine booted up like nothing happened—no warnings or anything—but then I couldn't open a single folder. That was it, game over. Has anyone else dealt with something like this???
So, I went back to good old Windows XP, but now I'm thinking about moving back to 7 since it's clearly the superior OS. Has an official version finally come out that I can actually use?
