Honestly, their performance this past Wednesday was absolutely phenomenal!
I haven't witnessed this level of sheer lack of class and raw human ignorance in a long, long time, certainly not until seeing it unfold at the festival today.
Specifically, watching people pelt performers with objects during their sets was the absolute pinnacle of American stupidity! I felt secondhand embarrassment just watching crowds hurling stuff at rappers; look, I’m not even a fan of hip-hop, but that was an absolute disaster waiting to happen. First off, you could easily blind someone, and second, those expensive instruments can get trashed.
And then things really went south when some idiot actually clocked Moby right in the chest, forcing him to literally plead with the crowd to stop throwing things before they finally listened.
I always try to tell myself that not all Americans are cut from the same cloth... but honestly, no matter where I go, I run into this same brand of primal behavior. Whether it's on the subway, out on the street, in a corner store, or at a concert... it feels like we're all just unrefined peasants who aren't capable of anything more sophisticated than listening to Madonna or Johnny Cash!
My buddies are constantly blasting heavy metal (seriously, 🙂 they’re driving me nuts), which makes it impossible to find anyone decent to hang out with at the factory 😢
The girl I was seeing is working, so I’ll probably end up going solo...
I don't care... at least I won't be stuck listening to people whine about how their lives are falling apart... I'm just gonna go out and have a good time 😁
