Does anyone know of any programs besides alcohol 120 or Daemon Tools that can handle mounting disk images? I'm running Windows 7 at the moment—and unfortunately, I've run into some issues getting those two specific programs to actually install—so I was wondering if there are any other similar tools out there that you all might recommend.

Honestly, just go ahead and install Windows 7—you really won't regret it.

I actually downloaded the Windows 7 RC yesterday—it’s valid until April 1st, 2010, which should give you enough time to wait for the full official release. To be honest, this preview version feels significantly smoother than Vista SP1. Most of the drivers seem to install seamlessly through Windows Update, though I am still a little concerned about the niche hardware—specifically whether I can get away with using Vista drivers on Windows 7. Anyway, here is the link for the Windows 7 RC: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/win.../download.aspx.
