It's crazy how things are falling apart in Colombia even after that peace deal years ago. It seems like these drug gangs are just stepping into the vacuum left by the old rebel groups, and the government isn't doing much to stop them. Does anyone know if there's any real plan to actually stabilize the region?
Passed today! Just wanted to share a few details for anyone freaking out about taking this in September or later.
The exam kicked off at 9 AM, and most of us were already heading out by 10. From Hanifa, they had the exam board chair, a secretary, and three women who handed out the tests—split into groups A, B, and C. We sat in threes, and everyone got a different version of the test. That said, the exact same questions kept popping up across two or all three versions, just numbered differently. I know this because you can technically collaborate with your desk mates, though you shouldn't overdo it. 👍 They changed things up starting this term: the test is now 30 questions long, and you need 18 to pass. You get 45 minutes. They told us the material coverage is basically the same as before. The board chair and the secretary are actually pretty chill; they were walking around the hall, so you could ask them for help if needed. Out of our group of 88 people, 80 passed. The chair called everyone out by name at the start, and since a few people didn't show and some canceled, almost everyone passed. It isn’t hard, but you do need to study. Most of the questions were right out of the prep materials I used, though there were a couple of surprises.
So, I’ve got my exam tomorrow and my study materials don't mention a single thing about pension funds. I just ended up with this mess of outdated documents and laws from way back in 2006. 🤔 Does anyone have a link to some decent study guide I can actually use to skim through everything? Also, how long does the test usually take, how many questions are on it, and what's the passing score?
Jacob Kim21 said:Ladies, I have a question. Is there anyone here who is particularly tall—maybe around 5'11"—and looking for leggings that actually reach the ankles without being too short? 🤷 🙂 If you could point me in the right direction, I would truly appreciate it. 😁
Target carries leggings in larger sizes, so I'm guessing they might be longer too. I wear a size 18/20, I'm about 5'10", and they work fine. Though, honestly, I just wear them under pants in the winter with socks, so I don't really know if they'd feel too short if I wore them on their own... maybe.

That depends on a whole bunch of factors, I guess. If you haven't had any claims in the last 10-15 years, or if you're in a certain demographic, you might snag a bigger bonus or extra discounts. With some companies, you might get a decent price only through commercial promos—vouchers, stuff like that. There's always something. But you really have to look at what you actually get with those cheap policies. You need to see which specific coverages apply to travelers, if they even exist, and if there’s any extra coverage worth having. It’s probably smart not to just hunt for the absolute lowest price only to end up complaining later because you aren't covered for what actually happened. These days, policies are pretty much customized everywhere. It all comes down to your age, where you live, the type of car, how old it is, horsepower, how you pay...
That shirt is actually pretty nice. I guess I’ll have to check Kik's site to see what else they've got out. I just checked their website and honestly, I can't find the news. Is it one of these?
Both this belt and the sweater arrived today. The belt is pretty narrow, but it’s nice and looks good with jeans. As for the sweater, it's an 18—true to size, I guess—but maybe not as roomy as I expected. I'm used to plus sizes being a bit more oversized, so that was a surprise. Anyway, it's a cute sweater. Since I'm always freezing, I'll probably be wearing it constantly. 😁 Really happy with today's delivery. 😍

Got a quick question for you if you don't mind... You bought that jacket from ASOS, right? Could you do me a huge favor and measure how long it is? I can't stop staring at it because it's so cheap, I feel like I'm doing ASOS a favor by helping them clear out their stock. 😁 I'm just worried it might be too short for me, though—I'm about 5'10". 😢 Thanks!
Just wanted to update everyone—the jacket arrived today (http://www.asos.com/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=305471) and it's already my absolute favorite. It was chilly enough today that I wore it straight to work. It’s super warm and looks great; it hits mid-butt and is a little loose around the waist, but fits perfectly through the chest and shoulders. I grabbed a UK 20 since it was almost out of stock. Such an impulse buy, but thanks Carl Walker79 for the recommendation. Now I'm just waiting on that white one with the blue heart (http://www.asos.com/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=3073070) that Carl Walker79 also has. That one was mostly sold out too, so I snagged it fast. I've got a few more things from New Look on my wishlist, so if they pop up in my size... Also, I noticed New Look items are often cheaper on the ASOS sale section than on their own site, plus you save on shipping. ASOS rules! I do have a couple of things I'd grab from New Look, but the shipping costs... if anyone else is planning an order, let me know and maybe we can split the shipping. 🙂
It’s the same story with every insurance company, or at least it should be: collect as much premium as possible, pay out as little in claims as they can, and stay profitable. The methods vary slightly, sure, but I know any agent is going to try and push a policy at the highest price point they can get away with. They all have room to wiggle on the price if needed. One policy might end up being $100 more or $100 less than another within the same company, depending on the situation. And look, when an agent is trying to poach a client from a competitor, they’ll throw every discount in the book at them. But when they’re just renewing their own existing clients? If they gave everyone the maximum discount every single time, every policy would be $100 cheaper, yet the goal for all agents remains identical. That’s why people claim certain companies are "cheaper" than others. The truth is, if you get a lowball quote elsewhere, call your current provider, tell them what you were offered, and they’ll usually match it—if not beat it. There’s wiggle room everywhere, they just don't show it to everyone. It isn't unfair, really. It’s just how business works. If you were a contractor and someone offered you a job at a lower rate, maybe you'd take it once or twice, but you couldn't run your whole business below market value. Or think about big retailers like Walmart; they have sales on everything one day and nothing the next. Constant discounts would kill their margins, if you catch my drift. So, don't go generalizing that one company is the absolute cheapest, because at the end of the day, an agent can always call their manager and squeeze out a gas card, a retail gift card, or a 5-10% voucher to drop the price if they need to. Secondly, you can add a lot of extra coverage to policies these days, and honestly, it’s probably smart to do it. You might end up paying the same amount as last year, but this year you actually get things like accident forgiveness or roadside assistance. It’s not a bad idea to be properly covered; we see it all the time where people act shocked that they have zero rights after an accident, even though they were the ones chasing the absolute bare-minimum policy for the lowest price possible.
They’ve still got some of those fuller-fit models in stock today. There's a 25% discount on the whole bill, and I think it even applies to stuff already marked down. Maybe. 🙂
Carl Walker79 said:Here I am. The length is 65cm (and I have short legs 😬).
Those two New Look vests turned out way too short after the dryer test... and I hate that. Now I'm debating whether to sell them or what. On top of that, the ASOS Curve baseball tee I wanted so badly has shrunk, and frankly, it's just meh. I don't like everything being skin-tight, so I'm totally disappointed. I'll try to stretch it out, but it's never going in the dryer again.
Regarding New Look, I realized after washing that they sent me the wrong size for one of the sweaters—smaller than what I ordered. It still fits okay, but if it had been the larger size, it would have been perfect. 🙂
Oh, wait, then there's hope! Thanks so much. If it hits halfway down my butt, that works for me. Maybe a tiny bit shorter, but whatever. I don't own any short sherpa jackets, and this one is cool with that detail under the arm, plus the price is unbeatable. I'll grab the 20 since they don't have the 18, so I won't even have to stress about which 😛 would you have picked? Your actual size or maybe even a size up? Does the sizing run true to number?😁 I'm looking at those baseball tees too, so many combos. Such a shame yours shrank.
Carl Walker79 said:Sure, I'll move them tomorrow. On my 163 sq ft, they'll cover about two-thirds of the space. I'm not particularly happy with a few items, though; they didn't even pass the dryer test. 😬
This doesn't look great. I guess that jacket would probably look like a total disaster on a runway—like, the butt would be way too front and center, which isn't exactly the vibe she's going for. If it were at least a 65, maybe. But to me, it looks more like a 55. Just waiting on the actual measurements. 😉
So, my black Wish Upon a Star vest finally showed up today. Somehow, it feels like an 18 on me now. I mean, I can wear it, I guess, but maybe a larger size would’ve been better. Usually, 18 works fine for me, though... I guess it looks to me like those little sweaters don't fare too well in the wash or the dryer either. 😢
Carl Walker79, drop the links to those summer fits so we can see what you actually picked up! 😁 Honestly, I’ve been hitting up New Look way more lately; they actually have some decent stuff.

dustycyclist72 said:Look, let me tell you something... I picked up these jeans from the Curve line—and honestly, they fit like they were custom-tailored just for me. 😁 I followed their size chart to the letter. 😉
Great info. I'll keep those jeans in mind. 🙂
Actually, I'm gonna go check them out right now. 😁
Everything looks good to me. As for the jacket size, I read somewhere that the sizing on Curve line is pretty generous, so maybe we should grab a smaller size once in a while—but who knows, really?
Carl Walker79 said:That’s gorgeous. I was actually torn between that one and the $45 version. In the end, I just went all out and ordered vests, tees, and everything else. I live for the ASOS and New Look clearance sales. XD
The jacket's great. Comfortable, fits well, I guess. It’s definitely skin. It’s a biker jacket, but longer—not that waist-length style, which is exactly what I need to cover my hips. You can wear it zipped up or open... honestly, it’s one of the best things I’ve ever bought online. I'll probably be wearing this for years. 😁
I live for sales. Especially when they stack extra discounts and promo codes on top of already marked-down prices. God, it’s the best. I went a little overboard myself—grabbed some vests, scarves, you name it. Most of that stuff should hopefully show up sometime next week.
Ladies, post what you bought so we can see. Carl Walker79, did your stuff arrive yet? What'd you pick up?
Jeremy Cox49 said:I've ordered from Yours Clothing a few times now—everything from basic daily wear to fancy tunics and even a little coat—and honestly, I've had nothing but good experiences. The quality is solid, the sizing actually fits like it should, and I find myself reaching for their stuff all the time. Just ordered this little jacket: [Link to an online clothing retailer]
Yeah, I'm with you—there's definitely a better selection of cuts for women out there. That one on the left is way too baggy for her, honestly—she’d look much sharper in a smaller size, maybe with a different necklace to pull it all together.
Thanks for chiming in. Seems like the stuff is great to me, too. Is it true what they say on the site about shipping being $8 for up to 12 items? If so, I guess it makes sense to just bundle everything together at once if possible. Do they ever run extra promos, like discount codes or free shipping deals? Also, I’ve got a sizing question. I usually wear a US 14, but looking at the conversion chart next to the clothes, it says that’s a UK 16, though normally a 14 is a UK 18. So, which one should I actually grab?
