Look, "3D Design" is such a massive, vague umbrella term. Are we talking low/high poly modeling, texturing, animation? Or is it interior design, architectural renders, 3D printing, or full-blown cinematic animations? You gotta define what you actually do first.
Just put your work out there wherever you can—seriously, throw it on TikTok too. Honestly, if you drop one solid, high-quality animation that’s over five minutes long on YouTube, that tells people everything they need to know about your skills. Pair that with a decent portfolio website and start hunting for gigs on Upwork, Toptal, or whatever similar freelance platforms are trending.
And yeah—brace yourself for the grind at the start. You'll probably have to take some lower-paying gigs initially just to build up those ratings and prove you aren't a flake.
