The vicious cycle of "bad" food
in Hobbies & Leisure ·
I’ve been pushing for a healthier diet for about six months now. It was a struggle at first—giving up all the junk, the sodas, the sweets... I used to cave constantly. Lately, though, I almost never slip up—and there are two reasons for that:
- The guilt is massive. If I ruin my progress with some sugary crap, the guilt eats at me for days—it's exhausting. So, whenever I feel an urge, I just remind myself how miserable and drained I'll feel for the next few days, and the craving vanishes. 🙂
- Honestly, I can actually FEEL what that junk food does to my body now. Whether it's that weird sensation in my teeth after a soda or that disgusting, bloated feeling after crushing a whole pizza... it's enough to make me want to avoid it entirely.
Great topic, by the way.
