So, I’ve been thinking—is glucose actually essential? And more importantly, why exactly does our body crave it so much?
I was actually wondering which of these products would be the better choice...🙄
So, I’m trying to decide which one is actually worth picking up—Dymatize ISO100 Elite or Weider Premium Whey? Since I can snag this Weider stuff at $150 for basically the exact same price as the Dymatize at the local grocery store, I’m torn on which route to take. Any thoughts on which one is the better bet?

So, I'll stick to one scoop right after my workout—but here's what I'm wondering: do I actually need to add glucose to the mix, or would it be better to just grab two or three bananas instead?

roughly 30-50 grams of whey protein paired with double that amount of glucose (like a dextrose powder)
On that note—would it be a good idea to have a shake in the morning or maybe as a mid-day snack on training days? Also, could I just swap out the glucose after my workout for something like two or three bananas instead?

Hitting that 50g mark is usually the sweet spot.
Since I'm sitting at about 183 lbs... should I be knocking back all 50g in one go, or would it be better to split it up—maybe one scoop in the morning with some milk and then save the second scoop for right after my workout?
Is taking just a single scoop of protein—say, about 30g—right after a workout actually enough to see results??
And should I be taking them if my main goal is just building muscle mass?? (meaning I want to hold steady at around 185 lbs, maybe even drop a few pounds of fat along the way)
So, here’s my situation: I’m 16 years old, standing about 5'10" and weighing around 187 lbs. I’ve been hitting the gym for a little over a month now, but before that, I spent five years playing water polo. I’ve already got a solid base of mass, but my real goal is to pack on as much muscle as possible. With that in mind, should I start incorporating protein supplements into my routine—and if so, which ones? I’ve been looking at Dymatize ISO-100, which seems like a pretty solid choice to me. Do you guys have any other recommendations or advice? Also, would it be worth pairing those proteins with something like glucose or a similar supplement?
