Listen, honey,
you're being way too sweet, but her?
A single slice

Sophia Wells72 said:The issue is that today's cronies only know a handful of tracks from Far Coast, so to them, Tumba feels like some unreachable exotic rarity.
Sušac is basically required reading for anyone heading out to sea.
Tonka is one of a kind. (And no, not the one with the cork 😬). Nobody can quite nail that specific delivery from Ban: she gave me this dark look and said—you wouldn't go anywhere with you even in your wildest dreams, please just get away from me, seriously, move.

As someone who basically considers myself a sea lion, my absolute favorite has to be "Sušac Blues"—but if I'm picking from the rest, "Stain" definitely stands out. And once a few drinks are involved? It’s "Tumba" all the way (🤣). Honestly, the whole discography is great.
Are you talking about Rubber Cheek? Right at the beginning, sure, but not really for the rest of it. They were always more into Deep Purple than Maiden. 😁 That's why "Manipulator" is such a banger.
Whoops, my bad—I wrote Marin Linić above, though it wasn't actually Slavko. 🤦 The "m" should have been 🙂

You're even more likable now. (Actually, you were already more likable before). 🙂 That first "Love and Fashion" album was an absolute gem from that era—definitely one of the best.
Oh man, Rock, goodness, I completely forgot about Rock!! 🙂 Linić was so underrated, and all those incredible female vocalists he used to scout. Yeah, please, add them.
And kudos to whoever remembered Tutti Frutti when I didn't. Man, that takes me back to the days when the legend Bego was still around. 🙂
Par Valjak will probably show up eventually, and even though I never really experienced Far Coast (or Midnight Express) as part of that old regional scene, technically they belong there with their first album and those older demos. I'm already feeling bad for not including them. Just hearing Roz or Pink or Night and that legendary Tonka immediately brings me back to those summer days—not to mention those unforgettable Far Coast concerts, especially over at Colored in Split.
